Does vaping under a blanket have any benefits? Smell? Hotbox effect?

I'd imagine especially if you are vaping very resinous flowers/concentrates that you might eventually gunk up your blanket - but I'm not sure if I'd call that a benefit
I recommend trying it using an unbleached cotton sheet first, that way at least you can reclaim!

I wouldn't say it has "benefits". You could try hotboxing, though I don't know how much effect it will have. Go ahead, do some experimentation!

I suppose it could be beneficial if you like doing laundry. Or pretending you're a ghost. If you've got a camera going, it might lead to some funny "I swear it's not what it looks like!" vids.
It's questionable if there's much left in exhaled vapor, so I don't know about hotboxing, especially when you start including dissipation and volume. When it comes to smell, I don't really notice any. There's way more smell off the raw goods IMO. And if there is smell, doing it under a blanket is only going to force the smell to cling to your hair and clothes.
What are you looking to achieve with this?

I'm hoping to reduce smell. But its also a lot of fun to get under a blanket with my tablet, watch a movie and smoke lol.

Well, for the smell, maybe get a mister full of diluted baking soda or diluted apple cider vinegar. They are both good for absorbing odors from the air and common in most households. I use them all the time because my husband has allergies to fragrances.
I have cats, I don't get to hide anywhere.
Oh and enjoy! I'll be spending the next hour there myself.

On second thought, I don't think that there's anything that I'd like to do better under a blanket than I would on top of a blanket, unless of course, it's really cold.

If you wanna control the odors, hold in your hits. Exhaling 0 clouds is the best way to ensure nothing smells. If you do it right, nobody even 6 feet away from you can tell you're vaping.
