@Vapewithfire I understand what you're trying to say but you have to remember connecting sativa with energetic, and indica with relaxing, is an old method. Those terms are really for how the plant grows, not necessarily its effects. The essential oils that give the plant its odor and taste are whats really giving these effects when they are combined with the cannabinoids. Look on nugporns YouTube page to find out more.
As far as vaping twice to get a more relaxing effect, you can do that but its more effective if you start of boiling off the lower compounds at say 365f, then once you see no vapor at this temperature, raise the temperature to around 430-445f. This high temperature will help increase the oxidation of the THC into CBN and give that feeling you want. The reason you want to get out the lower compounds first is because if you don't and just start out at a high temperature, the condensed compounds that form a cloud will keep the incoming air from being too hot so not enough heat will be used to accelerate oxidation. It will also be less oxygen in the thick cloud. If you are using regular or mediocre bud, you may be able to go up in temp for the first puff because that type of bud doesn't have a lot of oils in it but with real good bud you want to do as I described.
Don't pack the bowl too much because it will cool down the incoming air quickly and help form clouds, so you want to have your herb spread out loosely and evenly.
Remember all of this is allegedly happening.
