Ok folks need some help here. I can not combust cannabis anymore and My good friend who live in cali sent me some cannabis oil that is like gorrills glue. Im using a subvod vape. You need to load the chamber with ejuice/oil mix to vape and this oil is way to thick to vape In this type of vaporizor. I was told to infuse it with PG/VG mix, mostly VG,(VG 80%-PG20%), the mostly PG oil bothers my lungs. I was instructed to do a 50/50 mix of ejuice and oil and put in oven @ 270 degree F. for an hour. Did this and still is pretty viscus and when it cools again its better but not really good enough to flow unless I run the syringe its in under some really hot water(then it will flow). I Do not want to dilute it any more and weaken the mix. If I just fill the chamber in my vape it will cool and thicken and will not flow good. here is what I want to do. Please tell me what you think and or give me suggestions. I was thinking I can heat the vape up by wrapping it in a hot washcloth(can not submerge it! then heating the oil till it flows and just dripping a few drops of warm oil in the holes of the atomizer and screwing it together and vaping it. what do you think?

Alright dude well putting it in the oven probably wasn't the greatest idea. When you mix ur trate/pg or vg you generally don't even wanna go over 150F degrees (from what I've learned at least). The 'normal' mixing technique around here seems to be
1. Enclose your mix of extract/pg or vg in some kind of glass container (ideally)
2. Basically dip that glass container into water no hotter than 150F degrees, stirring it around to gently mix the solution. --hope that at least puts some imagery in ur head.
It sounds like you need a real dilutant for this oil. Something that is actually meant to break down the oil would probably be a better start for you ((I've only had experience with Vapeur Extract and CC's 'the solution')). If the oil ur using is too thick though, and ur using a sub ohm device, you might not have much of a choice but to dilute it even further. AFAIK, sub ohm tanks prefer a more liquidy consistency (?).
Anyway I'm for sure not the most knowledgable member here with this stuff (so take my advice with some saltine crackers), but you've certainly found the right place.

thanks valley squirrel. hope I did not ruin my approx. 1cc of oil by over heating it. I have about 2cc of the infused mix now. The one who told me to do this is pretty knoweldgable though, but then again he did advise me I could also infuse and vape with all natural 100% coconut oil mix and then I read it is possible to get liid pneumonia from doing that?? If all this fails, I wonder if I can just eat small amounts of it or cook with it. thanks again for tryin to assiast.

You are going to have to read, read read... To get the perfect "recipe " to infuse with a ejuice mix.
You will need PEG along with the VG.. This is the "Emulsifier" (Agent that keeps the liquid from separating in layers.)
I think there is a pre-made version called Puff Magic??

I suggest infusing with Coconut oil for edibles, do NOT Vape Coconut Oil though.
You can simply have a teaspoon of the oil.. Wait 1-3 hours....
Hold on tight .. It's a hell of a ride.
Yep Puff Majik and EJmix are both easy to use, I use a 2:1 ratio (2ml of ejmix to 1gr of shatter) and it turns out pretty good, I like mine on the weaker side because my tolerance isn't very high. My step-son has tried it 1:1 ratio and liked it. This is with 70-80% THC concentrates.
The coil in the ecig atomizers will heat up the mixture hot enough to decarboxylate it so you dont have to, though if you did and it wasn't alerady decarboxylated, you didn't hurt it. I've mixed this cjuice using reclaim from my crafty (kinda nasty, really no terps left) but the meds work.
Save your coconut oil for edibles, never in the cjuice!
