I constantly see vape tricks on the internet being preformed with e-cigs or tobacco vaporizers, but never with a vape used for weed. I have an arizer solo and am curious if tricks are even possible with it or similar devices. If so, how would one go about vape tricks differently than tricks with a pipe or joint?

Hmm. I'm curious about this too.
Too be honest I'm not even sure blowing Os is possible. I use to do it all the time as a joint smoker or cigarette smoker. I tried a couple days ago with my vape, couldn't do it. Maybe cause my vapor wasn't thick/dense enough? Was only vaping at 188C. That's my go to temp now.

A super is where you take the joint flip it around so the ember is in your mouth and you blow through the joint so smoke comes out the end. Someone else inhales from the other end. They do not put their lips on the other side they simply suck as you blow. Haha. You can see the stream. Also you can use your hands in different ways too. I use to do them with the smallest joint. Usually done right before its roached
A french inhale, letting smoke come out your mouth and inhaling into your nose

I always considered smoke tricks with weed to be wasteful, and they never worked as good as a hookah or e cig vapes anyways. If you don't mind wasting smoke (I live in an area where herb is not so plentiful) blunts or joints always worked best for tricks ime.
To do tricks with an herb Vape however, I imagine you'd need a vape with little draw resistance and very dense vapor.
Butane vapes would probably be good for this?

I've done it before! Even with really wispy vapor, it's possible!
I remember an occasion in winter a couple of years ago; I was smoking outside a restaurant and remarked to myself on how the chill outside augmented how much smoke came out on exhale- and as it happened, I loved to blow rings, so I thought it'd be fun to try blowing breath-rings.. it actually worked!

You can do wispy tricks with herb but you need a lot of vapor to make them look clear. My buddy just sent me this video like a week ago and I laughed my ass off. Definitely cool tricks but holy shit that dudes gotta have a lot of free time. Except that huge smoke ring is pretty ballin haha
And we've always called it shot gunning up here in Seattle.... But does it really matter? Whatever you call it it still looks like you're making out with a buddy or at least getting way too close

I dunno.... IMO they're not vape tricks, they're the same smoke tricks that have been around forever, some a little more intense because you can get a lot more vapor going with juice than you could with any cigarette or cigar. You know.... the kind of tricks your kind of weird, single and usually drunk uncle would do at picnics and what not to entertain kids. Still think my uncle like this got royalties for all the cigs I purchased later in life because he made it look so cool - but that's a different story!
You just need really thick vapor - or smoke of course. I don't vape that thick either, so isn't going to happen. I guess the "safest" way to do it would be to get a modded e-cig (or seriously modded like the kid above) and some 0 nicotine juice. You could blow huge clouds of vapor and do whatever tricks you can manage. With an herbal vaporizor and any decent buds, think you'll be combusting or damned close before you get vapor anywhere near thick enough to see that well. And, make sure you don't inhale!
Might be better off looking for tips in an e-cig forum than FC.

Check out the thread for the Peace vaporizer from Triihouse.. In the first post you can see the company founder doing a demo of the vape and he make some nice rings.
The general consensus from this thread is it can be done. Some seem to think it is harder than with smoke.
I have noticed a stark contrast in the dynamics of vapor and smoke. Vapor doesn't linger for long, even without room ventilation. I love the look of exhaling a mist of cannabis oils compared to the cocktail of ingredients in smoke

Reading this made me laugh . I came from a small private school in ga only 38 in our grad. class . Only about about 5 people I knew smoked mj. When I got to college I brought a bag of mj with me when I rolled one up this guy that was hanging out with me and my room mate said let's go fire one up. We went to the baseball field field right across from the dorm . We sat in the dugout and started smoking . He did that shotgun thing and was getting close to my face with it I thought he was trying to kiss me so I knocked him out . I went back to the room and I told my room mate what happened he started laughing so hard and explained what was going on . I felt so bad but to this day I still would never shotgun.

i blow vapor rings sometimes but only out of habit from years of spliffs, not at all as satisfying , but i'm not vaping to do tricks - i have a friend though who uses his ecig with nicotine free juice just for the purpose of tricks. kinda fun to mess around with..
