Pak, I am not looking for a debate.
I am sorry if I was not clear in my original post in this thread; After stating that when vaping and smoking together I couldn't tell the difference anymore, I was simply stating that in my opinion, there were certain situations in life that a big fat joint was better than vaping for me.
In support of this statement, I said I didn't think there were any vapes that could provide a 30 minute continuous session w/o reloading the bowl. While at the time I felt this was true, apparently the FV can provide that similarly timed sessions, which I readily acknowleged.
This, however, wasn't the main point I was trying to convey. For ME, joints are just way better in certain situations. Let me explain. This morning I took my dogs on a walk on our beautiful American River Parkway. I rolled a 2 gram joint, about as thick as my thumb. I walked the dogs, gently puffing the joint. No deep inhales, no coughing, just puffing a great tasting joint, catching a nice buzz. It lasted close to 40 minutes.
Sometimes (always), the sum is greater than the whole. I could have vaped .5g through my DBV and bubbler at home before we left and I would have been more stoned than smoking that 2g joint, but it simply would not have been as enjoyable a walk as with puffing on the joint. I can always hit the vape when I get home. I am fortunate to have way more cannabis than I could possibly vape or smoke this year.
I worked my ASS off this year, and I can waste a little weed if I want to.
Absolutely right, there's nothing wrong with enjoying your stash the way you like it regardless of whether it's wasteful by someone else's standards. For you, it's clearly not a waste.
