Vapcap - storage

Hi guys,

I am just about to buy a VapCap M as a travelling vap. Going into woods for 3 weeks with very limited charging possibilities.

Once the VapCap has been heated how long does it take to cool down to keep it in a pocket? I know there is this DynaStash but it's another 50 bucks I wouldn't like to spend now. Is it absolutely necessary?

If it takes like 5-10min to cool down it's fine. If more I might consider the box

Don't worry. You can touch the cap without burning yourself after the second cooldown click, so I'd say you can comfortably pocket it about 30 seconds after use.

Pretty much. I'd bring an extra lighter along in case your torch craps out, and maybe a can of butane if you're frequent vaper (three weeks is a long time!). Worst-case, you'll have to heat it with a candle, camp stove, or an ember from your campfire. Much slower than a torch lighter, but still totally workable.

I think a vapcap is a great companion for the woods - I would definitely bring a few extra torches and sufficient butane supply. Aside from that, you should have nothing to worry about!

I always pack some papers and filter tips when going into the woods... Just in case! Haven't had to use them yet luckily.

Totally. I'll have some additional lighters, we will have some butan heating devices for food, so not gonna run out of fire Plus there is going to be a store once a couple of days and since it is a well known tourist route - lighters will be surely available.

The Vapcap has to be the best choice vape for out and about or just about anywhere. I like to take my Ti Vapcap with a Copper Stoned body. It's standard length (same length as the M) makes it easy to carry. My favorite hiking combination looks like this...It's A keychain.

It carrys my Vapcap, a small honest lighter and a little stash container made from a couple old coins.

You can take a loaded Vapcap, heat the cap through 3 heating and toking cycles, dump your ABV and slip your Vapcap back into your pocket all in about a minute.

Once heated, I can take three good tokes before the cooling click. From there the cap cools swiftly and you can remove the cap with your fingers in just a few seconds. If there is wind or if you blow on the cap it cools even faster.

Is it efficient?

It is super efficient. You will be surprised how little herb you will need with the Vapcap.

Efficient? Oh yes, yes it is. Everyone's tolerance is different, so you have to take my anecdotal evidence with a grain of salt, but I can tell you this: when I switched from burning to vaping with a Launch Box, my rate of herb consumption declined by half. Where couple grams would have carried me through a week of pipe-loads, the MFLB stretched that same amount to two weeks. I found that astounding, so you can only imagine how happy I was to discover my Vapcap was even more stingy with the weed. Using my M, a single gram of good-quality flower lasts about ten days. Amazing!

I only partake in the evening after the kids have gone to bed, so obviously I'd plow through a lot more material if I were an all-day vaper. Still, I can say with great confidence that the Vapcap is very efficient.

Agree with all above comments - just be aware that there is a bit of a learning curve. We're all enthusiasts, anyone can learn but don't expect it to switch on and work perfectly straight from the box. What I'm trying to say is get some practice in before you set off

@Sdxxxx once you've heard the cool down click you can drop it back into the green/purple container they get sent out in.

At colder temps imo a wood body/stem works better, but with a butane stove heating should be fine
If it is really really cold a vapman would have been my first choice, but then it's generally more a question of keeping the torches/cannisters warm enough to ignite...
Damn, now i got the idea to test the Sticky Brick Jr with my butane stove
