I have $300 set aside for a Mobius Reti Ion bubbler; I want to make it my new oil rig. I had an opportunity to buy one through ALT back in April, but they sold out before I could make my purchase. The joint size is 18 mm so I'll need a new dome/globe to fit, I've been eyeing this one made by Nathan Miers. If I buy this vapor dome/globe, it will be useless until I can find a Mobius Ion bubbler (which could be months from now). The thing is, I know N8 Glass won't make these slides forever and ALT is notorious for selling out quickly.
Here's where I need your advice:
Would you wait to see what options there are once the Ion bubbler is purchased? Or would you bite the bullet and snag it while it's still available?
