Ultra low temp, short piece simple perc dabs

So lately, I have taken to enjoying much, much smaller amounts of oils at a time. I have taken to using my Ryu Wilson mini rig (3 hole jet perc, very simple perc/short vapor path) with no water and my Pukinbeagle Deep Dish Banger/Dnail at between 550-600f on the dial for a slow, low and ultra tasty inhale.

The effects seem to be stronger than ever, despite my use of tiny little dabs! The flavor is really something else too! I need to get off my ass and order a silicone carbide nail already, that improved heat distribution has got to work wonders for my purposes.

So any other super crazy low temp dabbers out there? How low can you go?

I have been doing some waterless dabs through my glass hammer at lower temps and it does taste amazing with different/interesting effects.

Also, for a few days now I have tried balling up a W9 Ti coil stuffed deep into an M2M adapter in conjunction with a small screen in front. A small dab on the screen with the LSV on hot for pure convection dabs.

I am liking this setup very much. ;)

OMG man if you're into w9 stuff and haven't already you need to try the new alpha centauri dual coil, it'll connect straight into any 14mm f or 18mm m piece.

My Ryu Wilson worked rig has been getting regular whitewall with the help of a minicron lite and ti kiss alpha centauri lately. It is easier to use than my d-nail!

I really am wondering if pens are gonna replace enails in the long run. These double coil w9 carts will do as big a hit as you get from any nail and IMO taste better than pukinbeagle quartz to dab on! I really gotta get an SiC nail, I am convinced that nothing beats SiC for flavor now :D

I got my Alpha Centauri last week and have been using the hell out of the dual coil atty and loving it. I hate sounding like a fanboy but yes, I am extremely pleased with W9's AC. I may go hook it to the UFO now!

I can crank it up to 7v and get huge clouds with 4 fast pulses in seconds or lower the voltage and press a little longer and get great flavors. :tup:

I do no water Dabs on my Sublimator... They are tiny compared to the dabs I used to do on my domeless nail... I always wondered if dabs on the sub were similar to using a carb cap since the dab goes into a covered environment...... I think the temp is fairly low because it only turned up about 6 watts higher than flower vaporizing temps.....

I've been using my VF Mini temperature control mod with custom Seego Glacier coils that I've built using the required ni200 wire and ceramic fc2000 wick. It's amazing how great the flavor is. I have an Alpha Centauri on it's way out to me now and temp control mods are supposed to work with titanium wire too the wire just runs a little hotter. Can't wait to test it out.

i dont dab off nails, but i second the low temp love.

temp limited device should provide this perfectly every time.

i also dab small amounts. especially compared to the knuckleheads online just waisting oil by dabbing as large as they can. i suppose if your swimming in oil that its cool, but such a waste really.

Haha yea I don't get that shit. I would go into a coma with some of those dabs :zzz:. Well I guess the guys dabbing on a $1500 rig I guess a $100 dab seems reasonable.

Low temp dabs, Errlectric all day!

We're kind of breaking new ground with the temp control but you can check out the persei thread in the portables section about the alpha centauri or the advanced e cig users thread in the concentrates section. Sorry no links on my phone at work.

With my current setup I'm running 9 watts with temp set at 460 F and this seems to produce the best cloud/flavor ratio but it varies a bit from coil to coil.

I have tried the Alpha Centauri with the YiHi SX330 V3C chip-set on the IPV4 but I usually get a dry coil warning from too high of ohms, but I would like to know if TC works with the newer 350j chip with the AC @NickDlow

Edit: Go low temp Dabs!

I'm getting an e-nano (partially because butane is becoming illegal to make here in WA) but it also does oil at 560f, perfect for low temp dabbing:

This guy has helped make me feel better with using it for oil, because I dislike using this torch and I feel like I'm wasting so much oil this way.

Definitely man I've brought it up so many times on FC that pretty much every dab video you ever see results in about 1/3 of the total vapor from the oil going into the vapists airways, whilst the rest floats toward the heavens lol

@Neceros yup that is one of the great iconic E-nano videos from my brother from another mother @Caligula.

Funnily enough, this was the first way that I ever consumed oil. By the way @Neceros have you tried out Stainless Steel wool instead of cotton? It tastes SOOOOO much better! :D

I'm gonna be revisiting convection dabs (off of sapphire!!! :drool:) very soon with my incoming silicon carbide dish and d-nail sapphire insert :D I'll be reporting back for sure on the results!

I don't have an Errectric (yet) so I use the @Caligula manual method from a couple years back.

Have a quartz nail and was using a shit temp gun. But now have the timings down so if I wait 2 seconds too long I waste oil. I am pretty good at hitting the sweet spot but realize I need to take it to the next level.

So bring on the Errectric Concentration Station.

For me its very important to weigh my dab first to get optimum results.
I go for 0.05g, I think that's tiny. Is it?

How much is a small dab to you guys??? Do you weigh em???

i have never weighed a dab, but now you have me curious. ill check it out tonight.

my bad. i dont use nails/torches. my dabbing is all RDA style.

ill just weigh the little chunk that i would normally load. about the size of a BB. sometimes smaller.

What set up are u using, to get your ultra low temps that is? (To stay on topic lol)

I just put the lid from my silicone storage container on the scale teir and then weigh my 'trates.
