UD or E-Nano

OK, i have quite a few portable vapes and i have my 12 yo Volcano which i never use anymore. I think it's time i get a usable plug in and i don't want something huge.

I've read about both of these vapes and they seem very similar in function and vapor production.

Which one is better lol i know it's just an opinion ;)

The UD seems to come with everything and the E-Nano seems like everything you need to use it is extra.

Is that it-Price ?

Not too sure about the UD these days, but nano comes with a dry stem - so ready to go out of the box with no extras. If you want to go thru water, you'll need to pick up a GonG adapter. You'll want an adjust-a-bowl in proper size (14 or 18 - $14). Plenty of info about everything on the nano thread.

I'd advise you get the nano, but in full disclosure I love mine. Have only used a UD a couple times. Liked it, but not like I love the nano. 3 major pros.. nano is cheaper (think even with added GonG adapter), nano is A/C power, nano has adjustable temp built right into the cord.

Second thread is actually comparing nano to HI, but at least one good post (linked one) about UD.

I know Dave (UD) has his fans and makes a nice vape, but can't for the life of me figure our why anyone would take a UD over the nano.

Having never used a nano I don't feel comfortable comparing and contrasting the two much, but the Nano's use of AC power has it draw backs. The DC powered logs like UD, HI, Older PD, etc have the advantage of being able to run on a car adapter without a power converter or use of a battery pack for semi portable/off the grid usage.

FWIW I love my UD but, IF I get another log it will most likely a nano next...

Also I think UD now comes with an option of the travel vvps at no additional cost.

Very true, as long as you have the cord to do it. Think Dave sells them for $15 - 20. Can pick up an inverter on Amazon for about the same price, and use it with any 120v A/C device (vaporizor or whatever).

UD probably works a little better, because it's native D/C, but just sayin...:)

Another thing to consider when looking to order: The Underdog & HI can be made from non kiln dried exotic wood blanks of your choice. The E-Nano requires kiln dried. All three are wonderfully powerful logs, and it sometimes just boils down to personal aesthetics.

You'll love it :) I don't use a vvps but they didn't have them offered when I got mine, plan on picking one up soon. Be sure to get some formed screens if you get a nylon stem ;)

I did get some and i got the desktop VVPS since i don't think i'd ever use the other one . I got 2 direct draw stems ,1 nylon and a gong and 2 packs of screens -one of each kind. I got the Orland Eucalyptus (16083) :D

Great Choice VV, I'm pretty sure you would of liked either But like KidFated since I own a Dog already so I don't see myself picking up a enano anytime soon even as much as I love my EV-2.

I really hope to never live without a little mutt around the homestead.

VaporsVaporizer I suggest that you get with Alan at Toasty Top and have him make a wooden roasting tube for you, Gives you a great natural down to earth vaping experience and it's great fun. Works wonderfully with the Underdog.

Wood beautiful wood, you can't go wrong.

I prefer kiln dried but if the wood is sufficiently air dried it is acceptable.

Thank you, Andy, for letting us know. All of the woods that I get are seasoned for a good long time, usually 1-5 years or much longer (air dried), depending on requirement per wood density & species. The moisture content ranges are between 6 & 11%, and are dimensionally stable. Kiln-dried woods are also in the 6-11% moisture content range. Whether kiln-dried or air dried, moisture content can vary over time relative to the ambient moisture levels in the air, as moisture will be absorbed and released - true of all woods. That said, most of the exotic wood blanks that I will be getting from now on will be kiln-dried. If a blank that has been cored out initially for a log appears to need a little additional drying, it can be left to dry further for a few weeks and then should be perfectly ready to be born a Nano.
