Suggestions for your survey, can u change it now??? (start over?).
1. FC has smaller user base than where your true target market is>>> MBA 101, duh!
You need to hit up the MMJ forums/portions of MJ forums, all of them you can find!
2. Decide if you will be shipping internationally, and if it's legal to ship across state borders>>>don't want to be the latest Tommy Chong
<many legal issues it would be very *wise* to pay $$$$ for consult with competent attorney in this area
3. Get an IP attorney, see Hippie Dickie's thread, how he expects Chinese knock offs to come out shortly. Make a business plan that assumes, knockoffs, which you most likely cannot afford to litigate! Devise a plan of constant innovation so you have a version 2.0 ready for production when the knockoffs come out, then you stay just ahead of the game, like the iPhone, many peeps will then want the 'real deal' latest, best they can have.
4.^ constantly try to improve the product, with newer versions, discontinue the older versions< like cell phones, you need rapid turnover of newer versions.

5. Reasonable price for "high-end" lol, depends on definition of high-end. Ergo, are $1000+ in ear monitor(IEM) earphones 'high-end' or does the high-end over the ear Auduze LCD2 can's @<$1000 define? Cause high-end Senns used to be HD600/650's until they brought out the $1,400 HD800 ( which along with the TOL Grado and Ultrasone's are still getting price shock resistance, while other HE heads don't think 2x about getting the latest Stax $5k or used Sony R10's still selling for $~5k, or used Senn electrostats HE90/tube amp for $20k)
Broaden your def of HE, start with $200-300 instead of $50 increments, go in 100's with >$500 being top category.

Another way to look at it, is if you prefer small size & portability (not the same issue), what are the things you don't like about or would like improved on the MFLB. Or you you have another fav vap, what are the things you'd like to see improved on that to make it more desirable.
You will find two camps of portable users, those that prefer small size portabilility and those who want performance and are willing to accept larger/heavier units to get that...kind of like headphone/IEM users.
You can't make anything smaller than the MFLB, but just how much bigger is acceptable? iOlite clone with Li-Poly is slim enough, small enough for most> lacks in some performance parameters < if you could get the kind of performance that Hippie Dickie's larger design has, in a smaller package, you'd have a winner, but you'd have to invest $$$ to get reduced size components of adequate level of performance<<<always a moving target, HD thinks he's got the smallest/powerful enough design components he could think of<<<find a way to improve on his design/better/smaller components, you'd have a winner
For instance, Hippie Dickie's design is like M$, Balmer...can't think out of the box (he's got an EE degree, but is anti-Apple...same really
) stubborn designer syndrome. It's got a too large,*separate* battery pack. Battery pack should be integral or easily mated/detachable design. MFLB is too crude, something just a little larger (when battery tech allows, maybe it does *now*). From a design perspective, I highly recommend reading HD's thread. Decide what voltage & current demands you design will need> make more than one design(size/weight) based on different battery/capacity tech
I sent Hippie Dickie to the RC forums way back in 2006/7 when he was still pondering his design, as those have the users where they need very high current delivery, very fast. But battery design/tech is in constant flux, notice all Apple Mac portables use specially shaped Li-Poly, non-removable batteries to get max capacity
over conventional cylindrical 18650 size batteries.
go over to candlepowerforums, look up user AW, located in Hong Kong, check out threads there on IMR battery chemistry. (be advised, while there are some obvious MJ users on CPF, in the closet, a large proportion of CPF users are in law enforcement/conservative/anti-drug <the gun totting female adm/owner there is married to a cop!)

While AW's standard Li-Ion's (Panasonic in the 2900ma are said to be *safer* design/chemistry)18650 have highest capacity& good voltage under load (current capability in discharge), CPF users say the much lower capacity IMR chemistry for same sizes, provide the absolute max fast current delivery you might find useful in a small portable vap that is in the MFLB size???
