I would agree that no one at 7th Floor should have said anything to a customer about any problems they were having with a dealer or distributor, but just because you can build and successfully market a product doesn't mean you have the knowledge, experience, whatever, to peform every company duty (cust. svc., quality control, PR, etc) up to top professional standards. 7th Floor has had their problems with growing pains, in trying to keep quality control and customer svc. up to par while quadrupling the staff to meet demand. And it's expensive to hire someone who has the ability to effectively deal with all the hard to handle issues of running a business. I've corresponded with the owner, Steve, in the past, and from that experience, plus reading all the 7th Floor feedback on various forums (good and bad), my opinion is that Steve is a good guy who's trying his best to provide good products and service. If he sometimes falls short in the service area, and he has, I think he ends up making it right in the end, or at least gives it his best shot. You're never going to satisfy everybody 100% of the time.
I also know that Steve registered here well over a year ago. He hasn't posted and I have no idea how much time he's spent here. Considering the feedback and communication that members want from vape makers once they post, it probably makes more sense for him to spend his time on his business.
As for Gotvape, my only personal experience with them wasn't that great. I bought an inexpensive accessory, wasn't satisfied with it, and immediately contacted them (twice). Never received a response. A long time vape dealer (5+ yrs) that I know via correspondence also volunteered the info that he had no use for the owners of Gotvape. Granted, they're a competitor, but he had kind opinions of other dealers. I noticed on Gotvape's home page today that they're having a sale on the Volcano, Classic and Digit. 'Sale prices' are $539 and $669. That means that every 'cano dealer is having the same sale, all the time. Of course they're saying that you're saving big bucks, since 'retail' is $650 and $850. Gotvape knows how to run a vape business, and I wouldn't worry about getting ripped off by them, but IMO there are better dealers as far as cust. svc, and if you're an FC member, you can get better prices as well.
