lots of these old shows including firefly and dollhouse can be watched (full episodes) on hulu.com.

wthanna,

IAmKrazy2

Darth Vapor
Adventures of Brisco County Jr (Bruce Campbell's totally underrated series)
Funny you put this first, i loved the show as a young buck. Now i own the series on DVD, this show rocked! great special effects, very ahead of it's time. Came out right when x-files did, but didn't make it. anyone who has a chance to see this gem, please do.

OK, some of these probably deserved it...

For the older crowd, here's some more premature friday/saturday night deaths:
A-Team
Knight Rider
Diffrent Strokes
Twin Peaks
Lois & Clark
Get Smart
Everyone Hates Chris
I was upset when they cancelled Twin Peaks.

I also loved Hill Street Blues when I was growing up...

I loved Prison Break but it had run it's course. What else could they have done?

Carnivale. I was so pissed when I heard it was cancelled. That decision still boggles the mind.

Everyone Hates Chris.

Firefly was great.

Terminator SCC. Summer Glau's character wasn't disturbed. She was a machine that acted pretty much like the other machines. Sure other characters in the show, who thought she was human, would think she was disturbed. But remember, we are on the other side of the screen.

The Others (2000)

And probably the best television show ever, The Wire. Not that it really fits this category. It was allowed to conclude. But if you haven't seen it, you have to see it. Start from the beginning.

Moral Orel
Chapelle Show
My Name Is Earl
John From Cincinatti
Flight of the conchords (heard Brett and Jermaine are fighting)

Those are some off the top of my head....

The wire was good. I went to visit with a friend to see his family, he said to me, look you got one strike against you (meaning im white and they were black) just stay by me and it will be ok. I saw some crazy stuff that was just like the street scenes in the wire.

Baltimore really was like that and from what I hear it still is in some areas.

Damn, how could I forget the Chapelle Show and Earl. I liked John from... but I'm not surprised it was cancelled. I made myself watch the entire season of Flight. Didn't like it.

And The Boondocks is/was also great. Supposedly there's another season coming but I'll believe it when I see it.

It's such a deep show, working on so many levels. A friend thinks it was patterned after Plato's republic (possible future graduate thesis). I can't wait for Simon's next show, Treme, about a neighborhood in my hometown.

reece,
xaustinx , I was just about to say that. ;)

One of the only mainstream shows that I can watch for more than 2 minutes. It is truly compelling.
