True. I work with children between the ages of newborn to 6 years old. There is a whole lot of emotionally uncertainty, and I use a lot of compassion (and empathy) daily. It's hard to be compassionate sometimes after a ten hour day lol

True - when my dad died and my family was at the funeral home for the consultation, I watched a door open by itself across the room from where were standing. I happened to look over and saw it go from ajar to completely open, so I went over to check it out... there was no one else in the vicinity, no one in the other room, zero wind draft (no outside access anywhere in the area) and it was a very heavy antique-ish wood door that was too heavy to be prone to moving by itself.
I went on a Carnival cruise in 2010 and woke up one night @ 4am, room was about 90% dark/10% visibility, I thought my buddy was pranking me to the point where I saw a figure walking towards my bunk bed. It got so close to me that I'm like, "WTF dude" and I instinctively threw my pillow at him. The pillow goes flying across the room, and the figure was gone. I look over at my friend's bed and there he is, sound asleep. I specifically remember that the figure was wearing a top hat and walking in a very weird/jolly way towards me. Yeah no, I didn't go back to sleep after that.
Then there was the time my mum was woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of someone sitting down in this creaking straw chair in the corner of her room that she used to have - except no one was there. That happened after her dad died.
