is there some trick I'm missing when loading my Omicron v4? I find it impossible to load this sandy stuff onto the coils! Pleaes help!

Have you tried pressing it in parchment? You can sometimes use heat from your fingertips to melt it into a dab...

I don't have an omicron but have you tried heating up your dabber tool to grab it? It should kinda melt/stick right on the tool.
