I was curious and ordered some stuff.
It's just a mouthpiece, a base, and a grated connector with a single piece of steel ice, but it works pretty well, and is just tall enough that the nano doesn't usually become too much of a nuisance, though it helps to rotate the bong so the nano is a few degrees off to the side. I did get a milking tube, but that makes it WAY too tall (and I don't think the shorter tube would be a big improvement).
And this put me in the mood for some more stoner engineering. How's this for a way to use polycarbonate with vapes?
This way you could get the heft and the coolth (man, I'm talking like someone from another century tonight
) of glass, but if you break it, you can effectively get a new piece for $1 or less, or use a plastic mason jar for further durability. And as with the standard Transformer Tubes, you could add a 14mm glass downstem for use with a smaller *onG (or for combustion, but Fuck Combustion™). And yeah, it's basically a knockoff of the Matrix Ion/D020-D design, but that design works well.
