No enthusiastic sky watcher ever misses a total eclipse of the moon. The spectacle is often more beautiful and interesting than one would think. To prepare for the rare event on Dec. 20-21, here are some tips to keep in mind.

Raining fucking non-stop for a week out here and it's gonna continue this week. No lunar eclipse for me. :mad:

On the other hand, Cali does need the rain. Oh, did I mention some money too. :/

I saw it last night, was as clear as could be and the moon was as bright as possible. It was really awesome to watch!
