Anyone out there ever tried one?

Each one of them is a fully functional, self-contained, battery powered convection vaporizer. They turn on when you start inhaling, warm up to the temperature you have pre-set (and maintain that temperature exactly throughout the entire process) in less than a second, and automatically turn off when you stop. I average about 50 good hits out of each one before I need to recharge them, and that only takes about Two hours. (Only one hour for an 80% charge). The smallest one is about the size of a pack of cigarettes.

What Tom said ^. The Fog King was a mod (in name only really) at vaporinfo and involved with some nice little vapes that, like he said, were never put into production because he couldn't come up with enough capital to get them made at a cost low enough to make mass production (and profit) practical. For a while (a couple of years ago) he sold a simple little vape called the 'Fog-King' for $50. The video is still on youtube:

I've seen the 'Fog-King' vape discussed over there, the 'Tobacco Master' sounds almost too good to be true, just wondering what type of heater it's using etc. Guess you could fit that soldering iron element in there...

Another 'mythical' unit like the 'Rock Sci Pocket Vape' I guess. :)

Think Bob was/is the Fog-King's neighbor/collaborator.

has a contact link to Bob, not sure if it is Bob Burruss (inventor) mentioned on the Eterra page or if that is coincidence.
Pretty sure the same guy Tom because I'm sure there is a connection to the Eterra.

I too read the threads on vaporinfo and the fog king looked kinda cool. He also developed one which used a soldering gun for instant heatup. personally I think Tom has taken up where the eterra left off, improved on the deal and can do all the work himself.

Thanks for being around to produce the Puple-Days Tom

Same vape no? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NOzKTga7gI

Not keen on the soldering gun in the airstream or the wood bowl, but still a pretty cool idea. Best part is the name. Fog-king incredible. :D

From reading around the flashevap.com site I think the Fog King vape was made by Bob's neighbor Dennis, 'The Fog King' on vaporinfo.

Yes, a moment of silence for the Eterra and Aromazap... just kidding, but looking at those now really makes me appreciate the PD. Tom

Was checking to see what the Godfather of vaporizers was doing these days. The Tobacco Master has a new name. The Viip III. Flashevap Looks like he is still keeping busy designing / creating vaporizers. Maybe I will get the chance to try one someday.

@Alan Did yousee his DIY Laserpointer wax vaporizer idea ? ,lol

I do remember seeing the laser vaporizer. Wonder how it tastes.
Could do something similar with a magnifying lens in the sunlight.
I think maximizing the surface area for the oil is the way to go since the temperature can be lower for better flavor.
Wonder if there will ever be more progress on the tobacco master.
