Tincture Shelf Life

Hey Everyone! My concern with these 2 Sodas that took considerably high places at the Cannabis Cup is that Ive just received them and their labels say 8/15/15 ( Probably the date of expiration) but I was wondering do Tinctures really expire or lose potency and if so is there anyway to prolong this from happening? I so happen to be getting off probation next week and i was saving these for my after party lol

The long and short of it was tinctures have a long shelf life. How long was not really established. Opinions ranged from a least a few months to years.

A Google search yielded little else. Some uncited, unspecific claims. There was one site that said "50 - 100 years". One uncredited looking site even claimed no expiration date. Nothing too solid.

Testing said stable for at least 18 months. But it was 1 ingredient and had preservatives. Hardly seems applicable to our question.
