Tincture question

I know tincture doesn't go bad if kept in a dark bottle in the fridge. However, I was wondering if the tincture becomes more potent the longer it sits?

i know glycerin tinctures do become more potent after sitting for a period of time after making it (according to BadKittySmiles). however, i don't know if this holds true for all tinctures.

I usually use Everclear, but the last few batches I've been using Bong Spirit vodka because it is SO smooth. I have not used glycerin yet.
