Depends.
How much high end concentrate would dissolve in an ounce (or any unit) of alcohol? How many drops in an ounce?
Experiment and get back with us.

The solution will get saturated at some point but I don’t think anybody has explored that yet.
I suspect that would be some super kick ass tincture though.

I have three different tinctures from three different manufacturers, with three different strengths and three different suggested dosages. Its confusing, even with the packages in front of me. They list the number of doses, based on the number of drops. But even those numbers really only apply to non-regular cannabis users. I've experimented and found amounts that work for me--about 4 times the "maximum" dose.

Why a tincture or a loaded drop? You could just eat a concentrate instead if your looking for a max concentration, no alcohol needed. Not sure of your goal beside curiosity.
im making a microemulsion.... which transforms thc oil into microdroplets that get absorbed much quicker than an edible....

That is why people use lecithin in medibles. I use powdered sunflower lecithin and it works very well. You may want to check it out.
Lecithin also makes cannabis oil somewhat water soluble. I used lecithin in infused maple syrup and I can use a squirt of it to medicate a liquid drink, along with all the other ways folks use maple syrup.
my plan is to put a few drops and make a microemulsion out of any liquid that has water

@nenmayk - I do understand what you are asking, but I don't think anybody has determined the saturation point of extracted cannabis in ethyl alcohol.
And, I would go for real, stable, hard, winterized shatter as this will not have much if any insoluble waxes and lipids.
But you are probably going to have to do your own experiment by dissolving 'trates in a fixed amount of alcohol and continue to do so until it no longer goes into solution.
Sort of like adding sugar to water until the water can take no more sugar in solution.
If you get anywhere with this, please do let us know.
Now, as to how well alcohol with a ton of 'trates in it will stay diluted in water....I dunno. Dunno if the 'trates will precipitate back out when mixed with water???? Probably not, but do we have any organic chemists here abouts?

i guess will have to do it the long way...will start with 5mg per drop ...see what happens
