my Titanium KISS cart is being soaked in ISO and I am about to take it out but I am worried about inhaling ISO...is this even a worry to have?

1. After I soak the KISS cart in ISO, should I rinse with water to get all the ISO residue off? or will the ISO dry clean?

2. Should I dry burn to get all the chemicals from the ISO burnt off?

3. The wick is still black even after being soaked in ISO, should I dry burn to get this off? I read people "burning and watching the wick turn back to white"...

Thanks!

I'd let it sit overnight to evaporate dry. Do not use water.

After it seems dry, do short pulses of the heater to see if there is any plumes of iso vapor. Short pulses. If you smell nothing, then reload and go. If it's still pretty iso, then let dry longer.

@THC SCIENTIFIC has posted that they can be soaked in ISO. I soak mine when they get a lot of oil gunked in the ceramic cup. There is no need to rinse with water. After removing from ISO. Simply blow air through the holes in the sides above the threads to make sure there is no ISO under the cup. I usually do this by mouth or you can use a blow dryer. After that, a few pulses of the button until no ISO vapor appears. I don't do anything drastic enough to get the wick to turn white again and mine seem to be lasting a pretty long time.

Thanks for replying. When pulsing, how do you know when all the iso is out of the wick? it seems like it could be hiding in there...I wonder if there is any concern with inhaling iso fumes.

You can see the vapor from the ISO while pulsing. You can also smell the ISO while pulsing. If you don't see it or smell it, you should be good. Maybe a couple of extra pulses after vapor/ISO smell is gone. The cart should look dry also. Inhaling ISO vapor is definitely no good!

Do you think rinsing with water would be OK to do? just for piece of mind and extra rinsing to get the ISO out.

Also how long does the wick take to dry out?

Thanks!

Absolutely, water is ok. I think overnight is long enough depending on humidity. The main reason I, personally, don't use water is because I'm too impatient to wait for it to dry that way. ;)
