Hey guys I am getting a pharyngeal flap done soon and I am wondering how long I won't be able to smoke or vape, but I can't seem to find any information on the recovery page? Any suggestions?

Wow, this is a terrible place for this type of question. Unless someone posts saying they had the exact same surgery in the same location (and if you want to be sure, same age) you shouldn't trust anyone's advice.

If this was something stupid like getting your molars out we could help but "pharyngeal flap surgery" (whatever the fuck that is) is some other shit. Don't risk your throat getting an infection/closing up on you just because you wanted to get high a day sooner, ask your doctor.

If you don't want to bring up weed to your doctor ask how soon you can smoke an ecig or cigarettes.

Yea dont irritate your throat, not even at the lowest temps. Any ENT doc or surgeon will tell you that but damn you're going to have surgery on your throat and you want to vape afterwards?

Make a ABV milkshake and then you're good for about 4-6 hours. Edibles is the way to go.

Is up to you brotha, what's more important risking the chances of getting a bad infection and then have to wait a hell of alot longer than 2 weeks or just saying fuck it and be safer and wait at least a few days prior to 2 weeks since doctors always exaggerates on waiting times? That's a question u or ur DR can answer


Me personally I would just wait I rather keep my throat and keep vaping than having a hole in my throat

Please respond back. I just had nodules removed from my throat. I'm still not speaking, how did your surgery good. Were you able to vape at all again.
relay to me anything you can. I have been in break since sep 8th and I'm really depressed. I feel like very everything is being taken away from me. I'm waiting to hear if this is cancer but all I want to know is how to make the smoothest experience for my throat. How fucked up is that?

I hope I hear from you. My ENT is not that happy with me. I don't mind the t-break but forever is a long time.
