Old & In the Way
I was lucky enough to have three 5 speed Nissan 280z's into the 90's but never a Datsun. A friend of mine had a Datsun 240z which i shouldve snagged ... rust buckets though forced a short life ...

Wife and I had a Datsun 810 (top of the line at the time; we bought it second-hand).
5 speed od, 6 cylinder WAGON, a very fun little car to drive.

But we also had the grand daddy of the Z's, often called the Fair Lady, it was a Datsun 2000 Roadster (1969-1/2) convertible. I posted pics in this thread before.

In about 2005 I ran out of energy and patience for it. The salt air in our town was not kind to this car. Didn't want to even replace the tires I had put on it in 1974 when it had belonged, technically, to my father-law. I was the only one who worked on it, kept it alive, for all those years. And it was tempermental.
In the end, no one wanted it, so it went to scrap.
