Thicker vapor....

Could someone please advise me if the Cloud Evo has thicker Vapor production than a Wooden Log Style Vaporizer?

I love my log vapes, but am looking for something stronger.

Thanks!

You can load more and get bigger hits with the EVO. Thicker vapor actually refers to density, as in a higher vapor to air ratio, and due to the more narrow vapor path, the log design often provides a higher vapor density. You don't need to pay a lot to get big hits though. A DBV or other full size whip model for about $150 will do the trick.

You're welcome. Not saying I don't love my EVO. Big SMOOTH hits, thanks to a little water filtration. When I want to get very high very quickly, I pass on the e-nano (even using the same Mobius Ion bubbler it doesn't come close, hit size wise), and turn on the EVO. It IS very expensive though, and if $ is a big factor, you can get the job done cheaper.

Have you tried a vvps with your log to see if that helps?
It might help, but my e-nano has variable temp and it's still a 4 cylinder compared to the 8 (maybe 10) in the EVO. The volume of hot air you can pull through a vape like the EVO, in conjunction with the wonderfully designed ELB (bowl), is hard to beat.

I have several custom VVPS' from VoltageKeeper, and I use them regularly with my log vapes! Thank you though for the suggestion. Hell I even have some custom battery pack off grid VVPS'. Lol.

I am not overly concerned with cost, but rather effectiveness. From what you describe I think I may eventually pick up an evo.

Thanks again!

@vaporonly thank you, you like the Dirty Heads too?

Dirty heads.. Good music for work.

I have been thinking of picking up an evo on mass drop soon maybe to pair with my UD's. Sometimes I just want a fast session and get back to doing what I was doing. Sometimes logs just don't cut it.

I am not really into butane powered vaporizers. Though I appreciate your suggestion!

@KidFated. I actually tried one recently, and I didn't think it hit any differently than my log vapes at my preferred VVPS setting.

I wasn't aware of a faster heat up time either. Gonna have to look into that.

You might enjoy a Lotus. I've been impressed at the size of the hits I've been able to pull off it. Bowl size isn't too big though.

THis is so true. I'm personally waiting for the new high heat version. Love the lotus.

Evo gives pretty thick hits. I would argue the older clouds actually give even thick vapor, but that's a point of contention around here.

Maybe a SSV is in order?

You realize all log vapes are, for all intents and purposes, the same tech right? Also that any log vape with a VVPS is basically the same as an e nano.

As for adding more material, that would lead to LESS vapor initially as the herb load would need to dry from it's residual moisture content before large clouds are produced.

I appreciate the input, but I already own MANY log vapes from multiple manufacturers. Buying an E-nano just wouldn't make sense.

Edit... I would like to add that all my log vapes work well and produce huge clouds. I just want more. My tolerance has become ridiculous from huge dabs.

I'd just quit dabbing for a while, you'll never match that feeling with flower no matter what vaporizer you use. To much Oil and Wax can kinda ruin the pure herb experience for me.

A Silver Surfer will deliver massive hits, effortlessly. bigger than a log, IMO

As much of a beast as my Cloud+ is, my E-Nano delivers thicker denser clouds every time, that are alot smoother for my lungs. I would go with the log, better value for your dollar and MUCH more resilient.

With my UD I honestly get the thickest densest vapor using one of Alans wood roasting tubes. I've also found that for some reason, and maybe it's all in my head but I get better pain relief when my herb is roasted in a wooden bowl. Along with the HI wood tube for my UD I use a wood bowl on my EV2 and now I'm mainly driving the Daisy.

I may be crazy but for some reason when i use a wooden bowl when my PNS/CNS pain is at it's worst I get much greater relief then with a glass or UD silicone stem.

May sound odd and I've No science to back this up. It's just my experience.

Well, of the 3 vapes I now use (that didn't take long) the Lotus is the most flexible and gives me the biggest hits. But, having just been able to switch from some mediocre brick product to some very decent California import, I would say the product itself may be a huge factor in cloud production. This better product just vapes dramatically better than what I had. Visually as well.

I am also in the Lotus club... it was what finally got me off Joints, it provided such tremendous lung busting rips.

I bought it as a camping/off the grid vape, but it quickly replaced and retired my desktops (including my Plenty).

I'm a huge fan of the e-nano but do occasionally fire up the DBV for even bigger hits. If i had spare money I would get the Cloud though, but the e-nano is what i reach for like 98% of the time.

No Evo to compare, but the nano produces spectacularly dense vapor. There's nothing like white-walling some glass with blue vapor from my Nano.

Although, I do have one vape that produces such dense vapor you can almost chew it (I swear you almost think you combusted until you remove the cap and see the ABV is still golden brown) - that's my Lotus. Though I believe if I cranked my Nano up to the temps I get with my Lotus, I'm sure that vapor would be just as thick!

As @max said You don't need to pay a lot for dense hits. My $100 Lotus is just as potent as my $200 Nano Log vape, and WAY more powerful than my $250 portable electric vape (Davinci Ascent)
