What kind of a discount is puffitup offering? I'll be pretty upset with thermovape if I just ordered mine on Thursday from thermovape directly and now some amazing discount is being given to people who purchase it from puffitup...... What gives thermovape?

We added the discount in error and I apologize to the FC community for that. Our price will be the same off the manufactures website. Honest opinion, if the TV was $300 it would still be a deal considering it comes with a pile of extra batteries and a car/wall charger.

So what do you think the error was? They offered it at too low a price and were going to loose money on each sale? I seriously doubt that.

Maybe they drew some heat 'cuz some whiner kicked up a fuss and started 'demanding his rights' and wanted free stuff or money? Perhaps they saw that as a mistake?

If you want to cling to your opinion that you acted in a mature way and meant no harm to those who you are now glad have to pay more because it makes you feel better, welcome to that opinion. I OTOH have a slightly different opinion, and I suspect I'm not alone.

You could, you know, have contacted the maker off line and not stuck your finger in other member's eye. But I guess I'm kind of out of touch with today's 'entitlement class'.

As I said, I hope the year goes better for you from here on out. I too think it's best to get back to our regularly scheduled discussion of this exciting product and focus on experiences not drama.

It would take an extreme effort reach combustion temperatures. I will not say that it is impossible. If you activated the device for far longer then we recommend for warm up, and then inhaled as slow as humanly possible, and your material was dry and super finely ground.... combustion would be possible. Under normal use combustion is a non-issue.

The temperature range is from 60 - 200 degrees C (probably a little hotter if the general directions are not followed) Highly user controllable with several factors contributing to the temperature control. Most importantly:

Warm up period - 5-15 seconds
Inhalation Speed - Fast or Slow
Switch control - The device can be rapidly, and easily toggled on and off to precisely control temperature.

The ThermoVape is mechanical, it is designed to be an experience that adapts to how you want your vapor, some like dense 'smokier' vapor, some prefer to not exhale any visible vapor. The ThermoVape can deliver either, and everything in between.

The goal was an organic experience that lets the user find their own style and sweet spot with the ThermoVape.

Hmm maybe because thermovape is offering them to puffitup at a discounted rate.... I seriously doubt that puffitup is going to take a loss in profits just to sell the vape.... This is going to leave a really sour taste in my mouth if this is true tv.... Punishing the original purchasers who ordered before any real reviews of the thermoVape have come out. I hope it's not true or if it is I hope I will be receiving some kind of a rebate or some free accessories.

So after all of that I was right... Hahaha .... I understand if I buy a Phone and it's less of a Price a year later but buying a vape and the price dropping before I even got it was a little bit ridiculous. Thankfully it's not true

Sorry but you simply appear to be completely unreasonable. The only mistake here has been yours and I think we would all appreciate if you lived with it like a man. Stupidity is not an excuse, and retailers should stand when they are on firm ground. The fact you think you are entitled to anything other than the product you paid for indicates some serious issues with your mindset.

Funny, exactly the same thing happened to me. I bought another set at the lower price, just got it in fact, $115 from the dealer in Canada (sale now over?). It's on it's way to a friend as a 'strawman buy'. Same happened to me with MFLB, got one $40 cheaper a month or so later. And Iolite, 'saved' even more on those, passed them on to friends at the lower price. Seemed the right thing to do, how I'd like to be treated.

Somehow it never occurred to me to bitch and whine about it, nor screw up other folks and then gloat. Silly me, I guess I didn't realize I too was the most important person in the whole GD world? Is it too late? Where's my entitlement?

Bottom line is it looks to be a solid product, the small difference in price is spread over a long time and a lot of herb. On a 'cost per use' level it's close to trivial.

Personally i couldn't give a shit less if everyone else got it for 200 or whatever, i'm an adult and know damn well that the price of most products will go down from the introductory price as time goes on (or sometimes nearly instantly lol) i paid full price for mine the day the website went up because i wanted it fast and had the cash to drop on something foolish at the time, as long as this thing holds up well it will be well worth the money for me.

Ok guys I think he gets the point that so far EVERYONE disagrees with his childish ways lol. I'm bored with that anyway, but what I'm interested in is the Thermovape. I need a new portable. Tried the Gn0me and its nice, but doesn't fit my personal usage at all. Besides my MFLB which is alright but again, not my ideal vape, the Thermovape is looking like one of the only options I haven't tried (that I'm interested in anyway). I still haven't found a GREAT electronic portable, and this is looking to be it.

I just don't wanna jump the gun and be one of the first to experience issues like I did with the solo. In the end the solo went from "the perfect portable" to "holy shit I can't believe I inhaled from that thing !!" and that makes me nervous to be an early adopter. Right now I'm hoping more members I know pick this up and can try it. That or another vendor comes in and keeps their discount despite "thats not fair I paid more" battle cries. I'm at the point where I'd buy it immediately for the discount that was offered already. Just some kind of incentive to try it now rather than later, when the price will INEVITABLY fall if ever so slightly.

Modnote: Let's stick to discussion of the vape please. Getting personal about prices paid is off topic and calling another member childish is a rules violation.

I'd love to see a video of the milk this bad boy can produce, i can get my glass pretty milky with my LB, and it seems the TV is giving off thicker vapor, I'm very curious to see how it performs. If it does as well as I want it to I will pull the trigger, this thing looks awesome. I haven't bought a new vape or piece of glass in, i dunno, 8 months...i've been yearning for a new toy but a certain monkey made vape just doesn't wanna get released

ThermoVape-any plans to make a glass on glass adapter? I bet a tapered piece of delrin where the tip is now would work great. If its tapered you can sell one piece that will work with any bong.

Yeah ive hooked it up to my bubbler a few times now and it does admirably, not quite the whitewall i can get with my SSV but not far from it either, i may be able to post a shitty phone video in the next day or two but right this instant im actually out of herb

And ya, I don't expect it to like an SSV, and I love my LB for life, I've used it everyday for over 2 years, but...I wouldn't mind a vape that give me more substantial hits on the go. I don't really expect it to replace any home unit heavy hitters, but after I saw a solo milk a bong in a way that my LB never could I realized I may need to upgrade portable. I was pretty sold on the solo, but the TV is pretty goddam appealing. I'd gladly drop the extra hundo on the TV if it can give the hits I want. I love that it's close to indestructible.

And I can put mah errl in it.....sheeeeeiiiit.

Guess what... I wake up to find out more about this amazing vape I will be receiving on wedsnday and come to find out that you two immature guys are still butthurt about having to pay retail price. It was an honest mistake by puffitup. From what tvsaid selling the vape for under 249 would make no profit. Get over it and grow up. No one feels sorry that you have to pay the same price as everybody else. But then again it must be hard to pay for it when you can only have apart time job do to being in high school. You are not ENTITLED to a discount.

Yea, we could do that, probably use Teflon as it is a little softer and may be more gentle on a glass fitting. We'll put it on the future accessories list!

I'm gettin a nice lil bonus from work shortly, i'm thinkin a TV will be my frivolous purchase!! (I hate having to use the rest responsibly, I wish I could just blow it all on one high end bong from ALT!) This is the first vape I've been excited about in a while...as it is I'm eager to get one...once I can use it with my BHO it'll be a slam dunk. Thanks TV! I'm hopin to take the plunge sometime in jan. I just hope no one gets it cheaper than I do
