It's been a while!! Just curious...is anyone still using my MP's?

I sent my Cera in for a repair, bought a Volcano Digital in the meantime, and haven't used my Cera since. I'm a LL user...not spoiled like all of you are with your oils.

Anyone know when/if the Luna will ever support LL? How does it work? I wouldn't mind getting one if it worked better than Cera for LL.

So, I got my luna w/ e-liquid cart, and I really wish it had more airflow... and a 510 connection so i could get something to feed the cart a little extra voltage, but other than that, it was great! Excellent flavor, lots of buzz from the wta e-liquid I have been using. Of course, it randomly stopped working- and the 9v battery in my multimeter is dead, so I can't even check if it's the luna or the cart. I don't see any oxidized silver on the contact, but the contact plate in the luna switch looks suspiciously white. I'm tempted to go at it with an iso-soaked q-tip, but apparently that's only a temporary solution anyways. I'm sad that it's not working, but happy that I have found some nicotine-free e-liquid with herbal extractions in it that seem to do it for me. Well, time to send it back to Thermovape I suppose... :(

I still throw your mp on once or twice a month just to switch it up with the cera ll:) it is a much easier unrestricted draw. I love the cera for the ll i keep the luna for strictly concentrates and oils

Try pushing in and up on the switch at the same time. That's what I had to do to get my Luna to fire up.

love hate relationship with my luna, always to tempted to put some oil in her, sometimes she just works, sometimes not. Darbs tip is good, you have to wiggle the switch to fire right or tilt the cart just right. Why couldn't they just keep things simple and make it a 510? Silly Thermovape.. I'm sure theres a reason other than to be difficult and deal with silver contact plates melting, shimming the threads and carts, connections arching, and tilted carts on the body drive my OCD crazy.. After all the headache, it's still cool looking at least, and hits like a champ when a connection is made! Sick of trying to load the thing and end up with a melted mouthpiece full of oil in the bottom and the orings cut to pieces from the sharp unbeveled edges. *Rant over, hits luna*:2c:

I really think they went a step backwards with the Luna from the cera, sure it looks cool. But seems like it's having a lot of problems. I was about to jump on the Luna handle bandwagon, but the more I read about the contacts the more I get the feeling they didn't to proper r&d on this one. Anyone else hear anything about them selling out?

Ditto...I am very happy that I am not the only customer experiencing issues. Didn't want to be the only bad egg in this thread.

I just hope TET acknowledges that things are far from perfect, and once a solution is had, it will be implemented in a painless manner (financially and wrt to time). I have to give my praise to their customer service, turn around time, and quality of materials. Now only if it worked =)

It's funny, I have 3 EO carts and they all work fine... mostly.

Two of them must be a hair too long or something. If I screw them all the way in, they push down on the switch so I can't turn it on. I have to screw them in, then back them off a little before the switch works.

It's kind of interesting though because I can use it as sort of a lock. If I screw the cart all the way in, I can't press the switch. Also, if I press the switch so it's on, then screw in the cart, the switch doesn't reset back to off until I unscrew the cart a little.

sounds like poor quality control and lack of a stable thread system to me.

One is an old one, the other is also old but was sent back to be rebuilt after I got my Luna. The third one I ordered with the Luna and, as expected, fits perfectly.

That makes sense. A rebuild will come back the way it went in, suitable for Cera? I'm not even sure if they can fit carts without having your Luna. Measuring mine indicated that .003 inches (very little, really) longer caused this to happen. That is, my original one that was .003 longer tied up the switch.

It is not, IMO, a "poor quality control and lack of a stable thread system" issue at any rate.

I think you should contact them to confirm if they need the Luna you own should you want them all to fit the Luna. Cores that fit the Luna also fit Cera, but not the other way about.

Good luck. As you know it's worth getting right, you have to decide if once is enough for you or you want it in all cases?

gone are the days of "screw in a cart, and it works" Thermovape won't even replace my contact switch so I'm left with a burned 300 dollar paper weight I can't return. Shame I had hopes for it. From my last post, the luna would work if I hit it at the right angle holding the cart sideways while I press the button up. Really? And we get used to dealing with these problems trying to make vapor appear? I wished I pressed the button in, and it worked. Now nothing again and it's been in twice now. Not a quality control problem? There's problem if that small of a measurement makes the switch short out and burn a silver patch in my vape, and they won't fix it. That is a major problem to me. Maybe I'm just crazy, and my luna works perfect. For 300 dollars it should brush my teeth, and trim my beard, not piss me off about how ripped off I feel.:2c:

Have you asked about replacing your Luna body with a cera since they aren't able to get you a dependable body? I know the cera had some issues in the beginning, but I've had one since the pre order, and am still completely blown away by the performance.

Hey guys!
I wanted to ask if any fellow Luna/Cera owners know the weight of a empty EO cartridge?

It varies too much to count on. As I said in PM, if it's running dry, try assuming it's about .2 grams loaded and add .5 more.

If you didn't weigh your cart, you should not use numbers from other guys. Looking at my records, I've had EO carts under 42 grams and over 43. Average something like 42.3 it seems but as you can see their is a much wider range than the precision you need.

Good luck.
