Hi Gr...I have both the Cera and Luna.

Luna's side switch is much more convenient than the bottom switch on the cera. It has a nice feel with a good amount of 'pushback' (to prevent some accidental firings). I do wish the switch itself was a slightly different material. IMO the delrin switch seems "cheap" when compared to the materials that make up the rest of the unit. All in all, much more ergonomically appealing.

Yes, I would say the Luna is both noticeably lighter and shorter (at first I was shocked at how light it was without the battery). However, once the switch assembly is fitted for the Cera body, the overall length of the two would be much more comparable...(<1/2 inch difference I'd say). In my experience, the ceramic handle of the cera, because it surrounds a portion of the cartridge, will do a better job retaining heat once warmed up. I am still torn as to what my ultimate preference will be, Cera with an improved switch, or the Luna.

Oh, and no experience with the liquid cartridge...sorry.

You helped a lot, thank you. Still on the fence, the luna liquid cart is set up at 7.4 volts and seems that is an improvement for speed of vapor in the ejuice world. Still it might make sense for me to get a liquid cart for the Cera just to see if it is something I will use or if I am better off in the ecig market for my needs.

Agreed...only thing luna will add is another "lower-profile", more industrial-themed handle. If you like how the liquid cart performs in cera, it should be the same in luna (I'd think). You can always pick up a Luna body for $9 more than you'd pay for the complete package at some point down the road. If you still like the cera body, I'd wait for the reviews on how the new switch works once placed inside.

Edit...I just confused myself. Can the Cera be set up for 7.4V or is that only Luna specific? I guess I don't see why the Cera couldn't handle it, as they are both simple battery tubes.

I feel you guys who are still waiting on their Luna orders to be filled. I've had a hell of a time trying to get one too. I put an order in last month for a Luna body and a core refit. FedEx lost the core I sent back. I ended up just changing my order to include a new core to replace the one that was lost. So I'm basically down a core, down the cost of a replacement core, and I still don't have a Luna. I'm not holding that against TET, really. I'm just hoping the switch on mine actually works when it finally gets here.

I remember the long wait for shipping when Cera first came out too. Man that was agonizing.

Zeki quickly obliged me with a refund upon my request. I might have been interested in waiting if I had known this was the case 30 days ago. No ill wishes towards TET, I love their dart and just acquired 2 more.
My rebuilt cores got done today (magic?) and shipped. I hope to see TET continue to innovate with further improvements.....Best regards to those still waiting.....

I don't think TET is unusual in not keeping track of and returning parts that have been left in place like that. When I took my camera in for repair, I was told to make sure that I'd removed the battery and SD card because if I left them in there, it was a certainty I'd never see them again.

It would be nice if TET gave the same sort of warning for RMAs like the camera company did for you. I didn't send the spare o-ring kit or the mouth piece back but I figured since the o-rings were mounted on the cart they would come back ... oh well.

I have sent all my carts back with rings on and they all came back with rings however non of them where rebuilt, before that was a paid option, or touched in any way other then maybe hooked up to an ohm meter to determine they where in spec. I feel for you though, they ship them with rings, they don't tell tell you to remove them, I would expect them to be still there or replaced.

I have a 3 strikes and your out rule and TET has their 3 strikes. I am considering bending my own rule because I love the EO carts that much but I have not bent it yet, lol. Maybe small guys need a 4 strikes and your out rule for me.

I will be buying the Luna oil vape in a few minutes, anything I should add to the order?

Excellent choice. You will not be sorry! As far as extra stuff I would grab another battery if you dont already have one lying around as it can be very clutch to swap out for a fresh one if your trying to decide whether you are low on oil or low on battery. (adding more oil when the fill level is ok can really slow down the action)

Nice. Mine should be here next week according to Zeki. Just stocked up on some Pure Gold to christen her. Can't wait.

@thegoo good call on a second battery, I should probably grab one too.

Do you guys think it would be wise to get a second core for all other oil and use the original for PG only? I guess it would be nice to have a second core in case I ever have to send one back for some reason.

I have multiple EO carts for this reason, one for co2 oil and another for everything else. A spare if you need to send one in for rebuild is nice as well.

I have a bunch of 18650 batteries (and a nitecore i4 to boot!) from another vaporizer I frequently use. Hopefully I will be good there. I'm super excited to try this vape out. I hear very good things everywhere I turn.

If I like it I plan to buy a second one shortly after for a backup (I just will not do downtime), may get more batteries then if 4 isn't enough!

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm gonna go seal the deal!

As far as batteries go both sets of my Keep Power protected ncr18650pf and the pair of evva-tech 18650s using the same cell operate on par with the stock TET batteries (as they should) but the Sony 18650vtc batteries heat the core up incredibly fast and deliver giant hits very easily.

This really is and awesome device. By far the best EO cart I've used.

Hello Everyone,
For those of you using runny oils in your Luna, either CO2 or BHO....how have you avoided plugging the vent holes and kept the restriction to a minimum? I have had trouble with both shatter and BHO oil in terms of plugging. I just took a brand new cart and loaded it up with .4 of BHO runny oil of top quality. I gave it only one 5 second blast of heat to load and the process was quick and easy. After the first 5 min post loading the vent holes were completely plugged and i felt like i was more likely to pass out from inhaling then get my first pull. With enough heat I am able to use the cart and get hits out of it but I am fighting for them.
The same thing happened to me when I loaded the shatter although i found i had to boil the cart out after I had used as much of it as i could because the cart was just too plugged up.
* I have had the most success using wax, crumble with these carts. I have just gotten my hands on some great Co2 oil and would love to figure out how to use it properly before i waste it all trying....any tips would be greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays everyone!

I'd be interested in some opinions of this also, as I plan to run PG, and never really thought that it may clog up the core. I seem to remember a video of Noah (?) ripping PG through the Cera with gigantic clouds, so maybe it comes down to loading technique?

Sounds like a technique issue to me. Based on a fair bit of CO2 oils through Cera EO carts they can be one of the easiest to use, but also the easiest to overload. If you put a lot in and stand it on end (rather than lay it on it's side) and don't melt it into the reservoir you can expect gravity to still work against you.

Think about it. The oil goes to the bottom of the jar, right? Why wouldn't it do the same in the core given the chance?

No magic here. Simply having it disappear under the top plate doesn't mean it's been absorbed into the ceramic. And unless it's absorbed somewhere it's only logical for it to flow down, and if there's enough of it to puddle up deep enough to cause trouble. And, having all that extra liquid hanging around is going to slow the action and muddy up the taste by reheating the lot over and over. You want to flash the surface oil off quickly (to be replaced by fresh oil from the reservoir) not bake everything every time.

So try loading less (run it leaner), store it on it's side, absorb it into the reservoir and learn when to top up again (small amounts until you understand it better?) based on production/appearance and you should do better. It can work very well, but you need to meet it half way.

Good luck, as you know it's worth the effort.

The way I load Co2 is: .25 into the top, pulse power button 5 sec on/off 2-3 cycles. Then unscrew cart and look to see if it's running out the bottom. If not load another .2 and recheck. I won't put more than.6 in or it will leak. with Co2 it pays to load lightly and often. Unless you like cleaning up a mess. Go easy with the heat.

I hope my notification comes soon, I am so damn amped for this vape! Have like 4 grams of the purest Larry OG Kush shatter just waiting on stand by to test it out! So hard to let it just sit!

I am CERTAIN it will be worth the wait though!
