Hey guys, quick update.

Anthony (our Video Editing expert) has a final on Teusday morning. So we sent him home today so he could get a little study time in.

So... I have a lot of video footage:

30 minutes of a team effort of going through a gram inthe Cera EO - this will become 3 videos. Also aimed at answering many of the unanswered question about the CEO.

20 minutes of the Cera VG (CVG) over view and demo 1. probably 2 videos.

120 minutes Sativa Grace (a bay area advocate) came by the shop today and did a serious CEO review and durability test. 2 hours of footage from that odyssey. Lots of examples of someone younger, more attractive, and female, putting the Cera to the test. Or was it the Cera putting her to the test.. She vapes, loads, and gives the Cera serious durability test. I could only pull highlights from this as the final project will be an Anthony process.

So I can pull and post clips from any of that footage to answer specific questions or demonstarate sopmehting that we have not shown yet.

Also, I have 0.5 and 0.25g of EO that I could power through in a single continuous take on the CEO to give you guys a quick usage estimation in advance of Anthony diving back into the video projects on Teusday...

Let me know and I'll make it happen.

Waiting on a having more of a variety on hand of dry/pressed and cold water concentrate to give a demo on. The stuff we had in house so so high grade for bubble it gave deceiving results, damn near could of just ran through the CEO rather then the CLL.

Should have the required materials on hand tommorow. That video will go in the que behind the CVG demo vids.

Let me know what would be most usefull to see this morning, today, and I'll get cracking on it.

Cheers,

Noah

PS: If you guys like the videos. do not hesitate to email anthony@thermovape.com and let him know. He has been working his but off to get this videos out to you folks! Great guy. Also if you have requests, or suggestions regarding our videos, emailing anthony ould be the best way to get that request on our radar.

Hey Noah,

Are you planning on doing a Cera version of the smooth-flow mouthpiece? I understand that you can use the old smooth-flow on the oil and liquid carts but I was more thinking about the loose leaf. How much length would you anticipate this adding to the unit?

Also, I noticed that you asked a few pages back about splitting this thread into three - one for each cart. My vote would be to keep them all in one thread as it is now.

Cheers
TF

Thanks for all the hard work and fun times guys!! Its a real treat to be able to have this semi-casual peek at the inside, and all your videos have been fun, informative, with the air of being professional. You guys obviously enjoy taking risks, and feel confident in your product. It is more than I would ever expect from any company. I really enjoy this personal touch:p . You have taken the time to address the many questions and the heavy presence here instills a deeper level of trust in the company and product IMO.

Totally agree! Their presence here in this forum is excellent. In my opinion, that is what makes a company successful. Back in the day (God, here I go) all successful companies got to know their customers and took a real interest in what they liked and wanted in order to service them better.

I think most would agree that the service industry in the old USA is going to pot, no pun intended. Good service has become so rare that it is shocking and unbelieveable when one finally does receive good service.

Early on I had a switch problem with my T1, and Thermovape busted a nut to get me a new one fast. That, along with the quality of the product, plus I just love convection vaporizers, will keep me with Thermovape for years and years.

Keep up the great work Thermovape, and keep that same personal touch you have since the beginning. Companies like yours are the standard others should look to for a model for future success!

Can't wait for the new videos, Cera is the most beautiful girl I have seen in a while, and it appears she works as well as she looks, I can't wait to add her to my stable.

do you think there will be a big price increase after the pre-sale?? it's already on the cusp of being a vape i can't afford but if the price goes up after the pre-sale (like other vapes have done) i surely won't be able to buy one

I don't think there was any price break for pre-oroder mmenzie. I think what you will see more of, is perhaps more items bundled together, etc after pre-sale. An interesting question!

Yep, I thought it's kind of silly and was thinking of asking them to upgrade the Beta unit to the recessed version. That was before the oil cart. NEVER MIND. There's a great use for it keeping that monster under some control. It stays, thank you very much.

Bottom line, the oil cart needs a 'Chicken Switch' big time. It very reassuring to push the slide, immediately turn it around and keep your thumb on the 'off' button for immediate needs.

Wow is the bottom button really that hard to toggle on and off?

I would hate to give up the sleek look of a recessed slide and also the functionality:
Just leave the slide switch on and use bottom switch all the time, easy as pushing a button right?

haha the CEO! sounds so imperial!

Im stoked to see vids of the CVG. I dont really use nicotine much however i really like the idea of having a smoke as flavorful and smooth as hookah in my pocket. it would be great in social situations. whip out your cera and basically host the equivalent of a hookah sesh.

a quick question to the guys at thermovape. is it concievable that a SS cera that is preordered in december (december 1st in my case) will be shipped out with the first shipment?

AirDru,
This essential oil vape is looking pretty good. Can't wait for some customer reviews. But I'm wondering just how quickly one would blow through oil in this beast. Any idea yet of a grams per inhalation value (video of gram sess maybe)? Assuming one were to take only milky bong hits about 10 seconds long.

I would imagine if you fill it right up and don't pulse the heat, you can burn through your load pretty fast. But if you pulse the heat, your waste should be minimal IMO.

I also have the feeling that this will be completely user controlled (I hope) on how much it consumes your oil. If you just turn it on like in the vid, it will spew vapor, but if you do quick on/off bursts, from the way it seems to heat almost instanly (from the vids) I would guess it's plenty conservative if you control how long it's running. All this is purely speculation, passing the time.

We would consider a full kit the Cera +/- owning all three cartridge options, removable silicone insulating sleeve, batteries and charger if needed. These will ship before the holiday.
Interesting, I did not anticipate the sleeves being available in that time frame and I'm sure I can't be alone in being very interested in acquiring one for each preordered unit.

You guys will be a large factor in determining what will come doen the flow path... in terms of future accessories.
Excellent, back to the drawing board :science:

The Cera EO is a PRODUCER. What we feel is the real true advancement id that we can deliver Maximum Vapor Production/Density without the Vapor Being Irritating.Cough Inducing. There is no trickery in our videos, if I would of hit a Revolution or Dab, with large, aggressive inhalations back to back. I would be giving up a lung, and done vaping for awhile. This was our Holy Grail for the Cera EO. Dab density without the heat and potential for irritation and the ability for the Cera to produce that type of dense vapor continuously.
I am really excited for the potential of the Cera to supplant oil rigs entirely. The video demonstrations have been more than suitable and your descriptions of the process and parameters completely supportive of the results. As they say, "who feels it knows it", and I am very much looking forward to confirming it for myself :)

I showed your EO videos to a good friend after we used a particularly expensive combination of glassware and titanium, and he was instantly sold, so keep up the good work on that front! Between all the material presented thus far you could string together a really short bang out highlight reel that was more "ad" and less information and I think it would do well for first impressions.

I have my own idea for a video illustrating the benefits of your products capabilities, but I am going to wait for the Cera to be in hand for maximum effect. My integration of your product line in my life dovetailed perfectly between my discovery of essential oils and my reinvestment in my physical health - and at this point I'm not sure either element would have been so relevant without the other. The cumulative effect has been revolutionary in all respects and I look forward to concentrating further on these areas of development in the future

It may seem cliche, but we as a company, live for the positive feedback of customers who appreciate what we do. There a lot of vaporizers out there, and a lot of companies to purchase from. Those of you who have taken the time to get to know and appreciate our products, contributed to the evolution of the design, really make this whole effort worthwhile.
The fact that you retain an active presence among what many have concluded to be the most active and critical user base for this market was paramount in deciding to invest in your products. Based on what I have read I am certainly not alone in appreciating this endeavor. I think you've done well to continue that process, as a company and directly, and we are all fortunate to have been able to witness the launch of this new product line in such exacting detail. Suffice it to say I don't think anyone could ever argue that you haven't earned it the hard way.

My own personal biased opinion is to use Vegatable Glycerol (VG) based liquids, manufactured in the USA (Johnson Creek, UltraPure - what I vape in e-cig vids, others), the UK (Intellicig), Germany (several). Look for manaufacturerees who list their ingredients, have a track record of making god liquid, and are ACTUALLY the people making it, not just importing it from China, marking it up 1000% and calling it "Eagle's Pride" e-liquid, or some such BS. There is a lo of that. Just my $0.02.
Thank you very much, it is only appropriate to use the best stock with the best tools and this certainly helps me formulate the direction needed for the new liquid core application.

Will the cores come in containers? I was just thinking that it would be handy to have a small, leakproof container for the oil core, so that one could load it up and store it ready to go. I'd love to know more about the packaging as a whole if that info is available as well.

I thought of another question:

Is the bottom switch a forward switch? (You can turn it on momentarily by pushing without clicking it on)
Or is it a reverse switch? (You have to click it on all the way for it to turn on)

I think for oil use a forward switch would be much better

No, I don't think so or I would not have changed my mind. The slide switch is a simple one handed operation, not so the bottom switch.

Is the bottom switch a forward switch? (You can turn it on momentarily by pushing without clicking it on)
Or is it a reverse switch? (You have to click it on all the way for it to turn on)

Funny term, the only forward switches I know of are for data handling. If you mean can you keep it from latching if you're careful, the answer is yes. However to do so takes me two hands and without any indication you don't know it's happened and it's very likely to latch when you release it anyway. I just tried, I can't recommend using the bottom as a momentary. It's a push-push switch, I think that's the only way to get positive action.

It may vary, but the switch I just tested needs a bit over .060 to activate it, .085 latches it. One an a half mm to activate, 2.0 to latch give or take? There is not tactile feedback to help you.

Not sure if this is a totally appropriate analogy, but I've been using a T1 SV base with a SV DART core, and Pure Gold (as liquid as you can get with a concentrate, before you get to glycerin based loads) for the past few months. The 6V base heats the SV DART core with PG up so quickly that it starts producing visible vapor in five seconds from ice cold. It doesn't get much better than this for speed of startup. I'm sure the new Cera Oil will work in a similar manner. If you watched Noah in the videos, you saw how quickly the Cera started producing vapor once it was turned on. Though the Cera is "only" 3.7v, it has plenty of power (way more than two RCR123As, in fact), and the new core designs are considerably more efficient then the old ones.

I have used the T1/SV-DART setup in the conditions everyone has been asking about. Fill the DART to capacity, take a few hits every few hours throughout the day, replenishing the PG if necessary (the T1 base with two RCR123A's can power the DART core for days). I've filled the DART up at night, and not used it for 12 hours, and it works just as well the next day (and with no loss of PG) as if I had filled it up just before I used it. I've found myself at the end of the day with a "dry" DART, put a single drop of PG in, and taken two hits before going to bed; in the morning there are still two hits waiting for me when I'm ready. On the other hand, sometimes I fill the DART to capacity, and then vape it all at one sitting with a friend. I have even done it with three other people (not quite a party, but then again, we had fun), refilling the DART as needed. With the SV-DART and PG, that's about 8 or 10 monster hits per two drops of PG, and I mean monster hits like Noah was showing in the Cera Oil videos. And there is also no reason to think the new Cera Oil won't be the same, only more so, than the combo I've been describing (and using). And those of you with Ultra and UltraLite powered DART/Revo's, if you haven't experienced not having to worry about your battery going dead at the least opportune moment, wait until you do.

As far as the how hot, how fast discussions, my experience with the Gen 1 line tells me that the only time heat is going to be a consideration is with the botanical core. I have never experienced my SV T1 DART combo getting hot. And that included the time four of us were hitting on it for 15 minutes more or less continuously, when it got mildly warm. There is no reason to believe it will be otherwise with the new Cera Oil and liquid cores.

I am SO looking forward to a new Cera Oil, with its new core's much greater capacity, much better efficiency, its one battery simplicity, and its obviously sexual design. (Well, maybe that last one isn't so important). I'm still thinking the whole essential oil setup in Ti along with a SS botanical core is what's going to be the ticket for me. I was thinking of not getting the new botanical core, and just using the T1 and Evo for herb, but the battery life of the Cera botanical is SO much better than the T1 battery life, and I REALLY hate not only the bag of batteries I have to carry around, but the fact that I have to change them so frequently...

I will be using it in this way, and doing my primary testing on this area. It looks like it will be just what the doctor ordered! (Pun intended!)
