Ok, I can't be the only one thats thinking this am I? But, I look at it and all I can think of is people seeing you and wondering why you are sucking on a dildo.

If you lived closer to San Francisco you'd understand that sometimes nobody would wonder that.....or notice, or even care much sometimes. Some might really get interested, even want to offer advice......

I gotta agree, when it comes to stealth it's a long way from looking like an e-cig. A definite 'form follows function' thing.

Nope! I caught that too. Tim first posted 199 and then edited it to 249.

I believe we're looking at two versions. The $200 uses Stainless Steel internals, the $250 one Titanium. Granted you don't see it, but IMO it's nice to have a choice?

Looks pretty good. How big is the bowl area for flowers? What about size vs the standard TV.

My guess is both are about the same as T1 is now.

No offense intended, but providing products of fine quality does not remove the responsibility to also provide accurate information. The best companies, which Thermo clearly aspires to be, are able to do both. ;)

Interesting choice of words. Where does this "responsibility" come from? I think you really meant 'full information'? You're surely not saying they're trying to mislead anyone by giving out false information, it's not an election you know. This is the Free Market, Capitalism in action. They offer, you buy or not. Past not making false statements (and that's kinda subjective) no maker or seller has such a "responsibility" I know of.

This is an 'upcoming stuff' sneak peek. You and I can't even get them yet. Does your favorite car maker give all the details of next year's model?

Wow wow wow I had finally scraped enough Pennies together to order a T1 and a dart only to find they had sold out and have been patiently waiting for some news for what feels like for ever. If I thought I was excited to get my dirty little mits on a first gen I honesty think my head its gonna explode now I have seen the Cera.

I mean seriously one picture and basically no detailed information I know that it will be released when they are ready but in the mean time... Argh!!!¡¡¡!!!

Patience Grasshopper, soon this will all be known. My guess is within a week or two some Beta units will end up in friendly hands....and from there there word will be out. I'd bet your bottom dollar it's gonna be really good.

Oh, yeah, welcome to the fun! I know it's not all that fun for you right now, but that's what is supposed to be.....hopefully the worm will turn for you soon. If you just tough it through.

I'm itching to know what heater core changes have been made. The fact that TET have moved away from direct switch contacts to a device containing electronics, indicates some radical changes for sure. Also, for 100% ceramic vapor path indicates that the heater must be isolated somehow behind a coating of ceramic? thus in theory would take more power rather than less, IMHO very interesting. This must be a very cool ceramic material.
The suspense is killing me.

Cool your jets, Brother Pipes. I can't say too much, but I'm very sure there's no electronics in there. You're looking at a pair of mechanical switches and just don't realize it.

Keen stuff.

DR put his finger right on it. They've listened to all our gripes, taken them to heart and are about to deliver our dreams up to us (or as much as is possible right now). While it's natural to 'run wild' with this (and I'm there too), some faith and confidence in TV is called for IMO.

I just love TET! One can tell the companies that really know how to build quality products and then know how to market them in a way to increase the already heavy hype.

To me it is obvious by looking at the number of responses on this new product. It has only been shown in one picture, yet there are already 5 pages of comments on an untried vaporizer and the excitement is building like a downhill snowball.

I am going crazy on this one. One thing I thought about, and since there is nothing else in this picture to gauge by, could it be possible this is smaller than what we believe it to be? Maybe I am dreaming, but this could be a very small unit. I cannot believe that Thermovape would build a vaporizer that comes close to the size of a Vaporblunt.

All this conjecture and no answers from TET yet. You guys are driving us CRAZY!

Can't be too small. It holds an 18650 battery in it. So close to an inch in diameter.
Roughly the same size as a t1 or half a million big battery ecigs. Thanks to a co-op on another forum I have about 40 imr and Cgr 18650s waiting for this new toy to join the obsessively large line up of vapor toys.

Naw, I don't think so. It has an 18650 in there, it has to be at least that big.....

I expect something very nearly the same size at the T1. They're not going to make it any bigger than absolutely necessary (of course, look at their current products....) and there's a fair bit of stuff to get inside it. Put another way, they're sure to make it as small as possible, but to get the performance in there it has real limits.

Dream on, of course, that's what the future is founded on.

Good point, thank you. I must have been in excitement mode and not been thinking about the battery. From that standpoint, it should be about the same size as a T1, which would make me very happy.

Well, I just got the INH a couple of weeks ago, and visually it's the closest thing to this Cera (in looks/size) it is also based on the 18650 battery. I imagine Cera will be in the same size range, due to battery size. I hope they don't leave us dangling too long with out more info/photos anything to feed the masses more info. Great time to be involved in the vaporizer game, horrible time to be so low on liquid funds...so many great new devices coming out, and I imagine this will continue for a while until it is so fine tuned that it levels out.

Never even seen a INH but for my money this guy will be smaller. TV has shown a passion for wizz bang manufacturing specs, I bet the tube isn't a mm wider than absolutely necessary, and with no electronics to hold it can be all the smaller. Even across the room I bet you can see the difference?

I'm sure information will leak out one way or the other, if not there's always the flat tire idea......

One good thing about "the look" is going across border you can just leave it sitting in plain site and nobody will question you. In fact might discourage further probing into your bag.
Then again, might have the opposite effect in San Francisco.

Dang, and here I was hoping for a electromagnetic induction heating core. LOL

Actually, good to hear that they are adhering to simplicity. Always best.

Great Scott!
I might be alone in this, but I'd have no problem buying a whole new unit. I honestly don't care if it is modular or not. At some point you need to give up and make 2.0. At some point the design has changed enough that it would hold back the technology to make it work with the older parts.

I'd say T1 and INH are very close in size. I only mentioned it because it uses the same size battery, and some may have seen it, and know about how big it is. Hard to say anything at this point as its purely speculation based on a single photo, but fun talking about it none the less.

You're not alone, I will probably end up buying a whole new unit too... because, you know, T1's don't come in titatium :mmmm:

I'm going to sit back and watch this for a while. I was waiting for the Inh XP for my wife because it is so simple for her to use. She is not a fan of my LV EVO even with the new core design. To much work for her. I love my EVO, it's not perfect but it gets the job done when i'm on the go or need a quick fix. I am hoping the Cera will be more to her liking. We will just have to wait and see.

It was coming down to an Inh or a Pax, but now i got my eye on this bad boy!!!!

While I sincerely appreciate the effort TV has put into making their products modular, there is a limit to how far you can go, and I would not want TV to compromise on making the best unit possible due to backwards compatibility concerns.

I look at this like my computer: My PC is modular and I can upgrade my video card, CPU and RAM, but only for a few years. It's simply not reasonable to expect a manufacturer to still make upgrades for my old Pentium III... and honestly, why would I want to upgrade it at this point?

I feel like I've had a great run with my T1, Evo, Rev and DART. It's a solid modular system that I have enjoyed thoroughly. So long as the new system is modular in the same way the old system was (one base, many attachments), I'll be very happy.

They both work great , they are automatic and easy to use once you "get" them IMO, I like each for different reasons, pax mostly for the look/size/performance, INH for the deep/even extraction I get from my herb, but I don't want to clutter up this thread too much discussing other product. I have no doubt that the Cera will be a quality product, after using so many of the other Thermovape vapes with no issues from any of my heat cores (so far) I know a few folk got bad parts here and there, but that is true of all vapes on the market as far as I have seen.

If I didn't have a $150 contest prize discount I definitely NOT be buying the 199$ unit. I'm still debating whether I will want to spend the extra 50$ on it (i will have to wait and here more about it). I'm kind of disappointed in whole with TV because I feel like with my T1 i bought something that is built really well but when it comes to actually working my TV is barely hanging on at this point( and it never did work as initially advertised "20 minutes of vape time"). I was one of the first to adopt and this was a little under 10 months ago. I'm still hoping that this new cera device is modular with my t1 considering TV has been saying THIS ENTIRE TIME that everything they make will all be modular. Pretty much the only reason I was keeping my T1 and not selling it was because I figured I would be able to update it to the newer model without having to fully buy a new unit.

futuretvowner has a point. i also remember reading that they will continue to use 510 threads on the new stuff as well. now im hearing about adapters...?

but i am sure the Cera line will be amazing and i will still be buying it. all signs point to a real winner here.

now we wait.

Comprised of a stabilized structural ceramic that is as clean as glass, as strong as steel, and nearly as hard as a diamond. The completely ceramic vaporizer represents a huge technological achievement and incredible vapor production and flavor never before realized in a portable vaporizer.

Forgive me if this has been asked but, if it has a ceramic body, will it break or crack if you drop it?

Fair enough, but that option is not always financially feasible for everyone, especially at that price point; not to mention, there are many of us who bought our units recently, under the promise of a modular system. I fully understand the need for innovation, in fact I welcome it (would be a fool not to) it would just be nice to see some affordable way for the rest of us to jump into the fun. Fingers crossed they are keeping that in mind.

They say the body is as hard as diamonds.

I'm not sure they said they will use only 510 threads in the future, more along the lines of being modular and able to use the new stuff on your old gear. For sure if there's a superior thread (or other attachment scheme) available and they're willing to make an adapter to allow it to work with what I now have that's the way I want them to go. As long as the old style doesn't go flat out obsolete I guess I want the new stuff as cool as possible.

I'm sure guys can think of examples of this sort of idea.
