I understand these even less than I understand regular professional Youtube people. I've tried videos from most of the major ones and outside of a few product reviews (most of which are just sponsored hackwork - VapeCritic is pretty good)... talking about marijuana is boring.

I've seen some of the other people mentioned like StrainCentral he actually turned me off of dabbing with his behavior (that and CustomGrow420) i've tried a few others... Terpy Tuesdays I don't know the point of watching them?

What's the point of watching someone else dab? I don't do it for the pain.. (or watching them in pain) so I guess I'm not the end user they are targeting

Whenever I watch these tubers I feel even worst than watching TV! I think I really burn brain cells, really...
Have you seen the movie/comedy Evolution? Maaaan, this world is heading there as fast as it can! I lately have such strong urges to grab a bag with a few stuff and start walking towards Africa in search of a tribe that still has no shit in their brains...!!! People are getting stupider by the minute and I have become a hater, yes!

My opinion is, if you're going to do something so trivial and overall useless... at least be good at it... make somewhat of an effort to be an objective resource if hundreds (let alone thousands, let alone hundreds of thousands etc etc) people value your opinion.

Unfortunately, it's all absolute trash and even if it wasn't biased and completely funded by shilled promotions it would serve no purpose in my eyes.

While waiting the long period for my medical cannabis card I spent a lot of time perusing the Internet in order to educate myself. I read literally everything I could find on cannabis and watched many YouTube videos in the process.

Some videos held at least a bit of information, and to me, that was valuable.

However, I think individuals like CustomGrow420 does nothing but set a super bad example of what non-users may think will happen if cannabis is legalized nationwide. In one of his videos he is actually under house arrest and wearing an electronic ankle bracelet to track his location.

Could you imagine playing one of CustomGrow420's videos in Congress prior to a vote to decriminalize cannabis? I think even a stoned politician may think twice.

That's exactly what happens in the E Cig Community. Rip Trippers is one of the biggest shills of the industry ever; he loves everything and he'll always buy another of everything he reviews. It became so bad that now Rip add's a warning that this is his opinion now and indicates if he bought it or if it was free. It doesn't help at all.

I used to trust YouTube because I was trying to learn this and that and up my game. Unfortunately I got lost and confused and the trick dabs and games that people play around. So I only deal with Marijuana Man (and a few other channels) (I find the wit; sarcasm, intelligence and sometimes EG bitching at Steve to be fantastic... it's good to see a brain working in a weed video.

CustomGrow420 is in the trash heap; so is StrainCentral... IndoorTokers is pretty shilly but he's too stoned to act like it sometimes VapeCritic... he's about as trustworthy as a condom with a hole in it

Sneaky Pete sometimes has some good extended manuals but even he gets a little stupid now and then... i guess it can't be helped?

He sets a super bad example of what Legalization does. But at the same time you have to remember he's like the Jackass of Weed Tube. Unfortunately in the article they are right people watch CustomGrow420 to watch him in pain; just like people watch Marijuana man when he's writhing in pain after a dab.

It's sick and perverse and quite thankful it's not you in pain.

So after watching a video from R3DBAND I accept yeah okay it's all about pain. There's some unboxing therapy you can find that people don't do dabs like Phrankie C87 ... but yeah it's all about a smoke along buddy to tell you how to dab or smoke or give you a pat on the shoulder if you do it the same as them.

As far as putting CustomGrow420 in congress; really it isn't any different than the Commercials we have for Beer today. Sure they are not 1:1 but in a lot of ways beer commercials have some glaring similarities but they are not the same.

CustomGrow420 doesn't read his comments anymore I hear; and he's pretty egotistical (obviously) he's shared pictures of his kids on youtube. I kind of feel sorry for them are we setting ourselves up for our children shilling themselves on youtube or wherever they can to barely survive?

I'm autistic so I'm not really in a position to judge other peoples behaviour that harshly, their intelligence level and obviously, to each to their own. There is so much to watch out there, that just turning off and doing something else is always an option.

That being said... For me, its all about info. At least some of the vape review channels actually go through the product and tell you some pros and cons. The thing I find irritating is the passing on of complete rubbish information. StrainCentral doing a video explaining reclaim, and him saying how vile it is had me wondering what the hell he was doing as my reclaim is golden and tastes lovely. Then I realised he had no idea he was combusting his dabs. Coughing his guts up. The last straw was watching a 'vape review' he did, calling it a convection vape when it was conduction, getting nearly everything wrong.

That was the last I watched any of the weed tube kids. I tried a whole bunch, more power to em, young adults making money getting high. But if its just small talk and someone getting high, giving out incorrect info, then theres no where near enough actual content for me to get anything out of it.

Real good information about the reclaim; I long suspected he was wrong about it. But I am not dankrupt enough to try drink stem-milk I could go the AVB route ..

This is not the first time I'm seeing accusation of VapeCritic as nit being trustworthy. I'm wondering why.
I agree with each his review of vapes that I have experience with and find these review very accurate, demonstrative and helpful.
What did he actually do to get that reputation? Maybe a few shill reviews inbetween the good ones?

If you look at various FF2 related threads here and other places, I think you will see owner reactions all over the map from loving it from first draw to thinking they were actually ripped off. In response to this criticism, Bud reached out again to his audience and asked for their input/experiences and I believe he may have worked out a "try it, you'll like it" loaner to buy program with FF2 (I really don't know if this was Bud's initiative or not, but he has advertised this program and has worked as hard as he can to help people who felt misled by his FF2 review).

I do like reviews that are intelligable. One's that give you the impression that the reviewer has some decent level of command of the English language, which is not common in these vids.

I like the Vape Critic, Buzz Dankin works hard for his audience, and I do like Chase and Terpy Tues but wish he would expand his content format a bit beyond manipulation and dab shots. But that's just me.

The problem with Vape Critic is he's just like Rip Tripper (for the e cig community) who shills anything he can and thinks highly of it.

I agree with you it started with the FF2; it continued with the IQ... when he put the IQ above the Pax 3 that was pretty amazing and then he's happy with his Pax 3 a few weeks later. He changes his mind faster than he changes his underwear.

He said many times it worked well, but it wasn't the vape for him, and his mouthpiece got hot like some have said on here. That mixed with the myriad of people with issues with FF2, and you have yourself a solid conspiracy.

I've watched the bulk of his reviews compared to others, and I can say from my experience is he's pretty darn fair. I love my FF2, gets amazing clouds, and not that finicky.

He basically said it was a slightly faster PAX 2, which was one of his highest rated vapes. You have to watch the IQ / Pax 3 comparison video tbh to see what I'm referring to. He put the IQ above the Pax 3; currently IQ is having various issues.

Sure a reviewer won't see everything; I almost wish they would update the reviews later on if they find out something really bad. Does anyone do that?

Many times I don't even care what the reviewer's final take is. I just want to see the vape in action. I'm done with expensive, technology-laden vapes like the FF. Too much to go wrong. I'll take a log vape every time now.

I get into moods as to what types of weedtube stuff I'll watch. If it's dumb, I'll move on. Many times it's the theme not the person. Some days I feel like searching Bud porn, sometimes it's concentrate extractions, or a new vape. I also like to watch people walk through various cannabis cups, festivals and such. Customgrow420 sucked at that because he is so spastic that the camera is going every which way until you feel like throwing up, that's besides the ridiculous screaming and odd sounds he makes. He is a poor representative of the culture.

To answer your question as far as to how long the reviewer has used it before they give it the +1... is a list.

1. You get some who review as they unbox it; so they have no experience with it what so ever. Honestly this is the purest kind of review (feel free to correct me)
2. There are those who review it for 24-48 hours before making their video. This should be a bit better as they can give you their experience beyond 15 minutes; but often those are shills in my experience.
3. This place is reserved for a good response. Sure there are people who use it for 7 or 15 or 30 days before reviewing but I kinda feel those fall into 2.
4. Crackhead reviews like CustomGrow420 who just kind of make a joke out of everything. Yes he needs his own spot.

I can't really speak for why I subscribe to R3DBAND he doesn't really do much anymore; I guess I don't appreciate watching him dab (which is a good portion of his videos) there's a few reviews but watching people dab at the lake or watching people dab in front of their dogs ... just doesn't do anything for me

Yeah, I agree. I truly believe that cannabis is medicine and does a great deal of good for myself and others. But I believe it can be overdone to the point where it consumes you. That's where the show seems to have gone for me.
My favorite episode involved the brothers sitting on the futon and packing/smoking a cone joint (with the ever present Golden Goat which was a favorite of theirs). It was a very chill vid and was great to sit back and vape to.

I really like Terpy Tuesdays also. I just don't have access to many concentrates and so I drool over some of those candy shots. I love some good full melt shots. I don't smoke anymore but still fun to watch some live resin melt into a fresh bed of cannabis.

Yeah, sometimes its pretty obvious how long they've had it for. Unboxing and immediate 'reviewing' is shite. Using the vape straight out the box, no idea of even the concept of a burn off, and then an instant recommendation. No thanks!

Videos are still useful to get an idea of how the devices work but overall I'm with you on the being done with expensive, tech-laden vapes, especially proprietary tech. I still like to see what people are throwing their money at tho

I would say Vapefiend ranks highest in this category, among the YouTube reviewers that I've seen.

I think some of these YouTube cannabis smokers that make these video gives our favorite flower a bad name. It gives those in power who wish to get rid of cannabis more ammunition IMO. There are some that give great information and education. Some of it they are trying to sell stuff and that's great. There's just a lot of really dumb stuff out there. A lot of coughing and laughing.

@Vitolo 's videos are the very best. He's what made me want to come here.
