How hard is it to ask someone to hold the phone...
The size doesn't look bad (slowly getting there) but I don't like that kind of oven with a few holes on the bottom that lead to the inside of the vape where it most likely won't be cleanable. I might be wrong about that though!

That plus the kind of marketing punchlines they use make me quite unsure about that brand but I find it quite funny too though!
A vast majority of the portable dry herb vaporizers on the market today are hiding a dirty little secret; they are not true vaporizers!
The Vapor Box TBH is a huge breakthrough in the loose leaf, portable, true vaporizer market.

Hate to judge prematurely, but first thoughts, at this size, the box shape seems like it would be uncomfortable in a pocket, where rounded edges, like the Inhalater, PNP, Ascent, or PAX, are comfortable.
Those exhales seemed pretty thick, almost smoke like.
I think these folks fell a little short in their design department and I wonder if they did their research on what's currently available in the field, and on the horizon.
But as usual, hope it rocks, proves my prejudice wrong, and it lands in my signature

But yeah I hear you many of those claimed to be vaporizer are not, but it's a not a secret for the FC people! Neither it is I'm sure for the ecig manufacturers!
Just a quick update: The heater definitely is "medical grade" ceramic. Here's a photo someone posted from the NATO show in Las Vegas. Apparently this thing uses screens for wax and oil, but I feel like the holes in the chamber are going to require a screen for dry herb anyway. We shall see.

I dont know if its the angle of the picture or if it was just poorly put together but it looks like the washer or bowl are misaligned... You said it's better than anything else you've "smoked" from. That may have been a "for lack of a better word" sort of thing or you may have missed the name of this forum, but we're vaporists as opposed to smokers.
We are a curious bunch when a new vape comes out so, with that in mind, what vaporizers have you compared this to and can you provide more specifics about the unit and your experience with it?

Sorry! Old habits die hard. I can try and answer any questions you might have. I don't own one and I only got to try it for about 5 minutes. I have a Pax and compare it to that. I like the clean tasting hit that the ceramic bowl provided. Seemed a little odd to me that it needed to warm up and be monitored as to not overheat the material. With that said, I think it's something I could get used to.

I was fortunate enough to attend the Cannabis Cup in Denver to check out some of the companies we have invested into. I am a stock holder, here is my unbiased review thus far. One of those happens to be SPLI-The Vapor Group. I ended up talking with them and purchased the THB-The Vapor Box after much anticipation from PR's and word of mouth.
The Vapor Box comes neatly and tightly packed with all the contents you will need to make this device a successful product. You have a container for your oils, a wire brush to clean the ceramic chamber, 3 soft plastic tips for the mouthpiece, a oil plate adapter, and a charger. Last bur not least THB unit itself. It is easy to use and turns on with 5 pushes on the single power button.
Once you have packed your herb/oil you replace the mouthpiece and wait 90 seconds, more so the later. Once you have THB heated up taking a rip is easy as inhaling, unlike other devices it offers little resistance and it shows with the amount of vapor produced. Once you take your 2nd rip it is advised that you power down the unit as it will heat up to a max of 480 degrees and can cause combustion if left on. The higher heat is due to oil compatibility. Even after powering down you are able to finish the first wave of hits and then you can open, redistribute, and then re-power up for the 2nd wave of vapor-tastic fun. The 2nd wave is the popcorn and not necessary but can be done.
If you are using quality bud you can get anywhere from 3-5 quality rips with another 2-5 so-so/popcorn rips. If you have vaped before you know what that means. The chamber itself appears to fit around .25 of a gram possibly more. The overall result is a smooth and solid unit that is cheaper than its competitors.
Now clear the vapid bud out and drop the included oil skillet into the ceramic chamber the place your dab/earl/wax inside onto of the skillet. Turn on THB with 5 clicks, then 5 to begin heating. In under a minute THB is ready to hit and gives anywhere from 4-8 large rips depending on the size of dab loaded. After the chamber is free of any stick matter. It it just as easy to switch between bud and earl by taking the skillet out and replacing with dry herb. I have hit around 30-40 bowls so far with no issues other than the batter dying after prolonged use. Charge up is between 1.5-2hrs.
Retailing around $180 in stores and shipping out around the end of May realistically. Future models to include variable temp control, blue tooth control, app for smart phones, etc...

I am but a simple stock holder, other than that the connection is the product is good and I am using it daily. I can't convince conspiracy theory mindsets but my only objective is transparency and awareness for a company I support verbally and in stock. I am not paid and am actually 20k down from the stock =) Again if things go wrong and it turns to be a shit product in a week or two I'll write about that. I am sorry I have a positive review of a good product thus far.

Well obviously you are attempting to promote this product which you have a financial interest in. For your review to be in any way objective you should have clearly stated that you have invested money in the product. You did not simply stumble across it at the Cannabis Cup.
Anyway, good luck with it.
Unless this is the most efficient vape every made, which at $180 pirce tag i doubt it is, that 5-10 hits off a 0.25 possibly more load is not that great. I load about 0.1 in my firefly and get 10-15 hits

i think the past has showen very often, that nobody should buy a unit without knowing anything about it. too many shady companys are in this business, unfortunately.
so I can understand why many people won't trust your opinion, unless someone else with a good reputation says the same about it.
However, I think it's very important for a new companys to work very close with the community like the indica guys do, so I appreciate your honesty about who you are, but i think it would have been this companys duty to introduce their own product.
just throwing somthing out on the market is a marketing fail imho.
