I have been scooping, and got what I could, but the entire chamber gets coated in a thin gold residue that I didn't want to have to scrape at, so I used 99% iso. to collect what I couldn't scrape.

When I clean the atomizer, I found I need to separate the parts while it's still hot, otherwise they tend to be stuck together from the oils once it all cools down. I just use pliers to hold the stem and a thick cloth to turn the bowl portion. Just have to be cautious not to burn yourself. Then I let them cool. After it's cool, I submerge the stem and bowl in my "reclaim" jar full of iso. I try to clean the bowl out first, knock loose any bits that are stuck down, and remove the screen before I soak it. Then I use a small 1/4" wire brush to clean them both while submerged in the iso. (bought the wire brush from Vaporgenie website, they had 2 sizes). I don't leave them soaking too long, since I brush them down, I clean them off with some hot tap water and use qtips and paper towels to get them dry/clean.

I dont leave my vapes on all day no need just click off an on resets the timer. I havent vaporized in about 6 months nothing first day back gonna be cloud and sublimator. Ohhhh yeaa

I use the atomizer with an extender and the extender sticks to the atomizer when it heats up. when I dump my load out the bottom of the extender is barely warm, so I always blow through the atomizer from the bottom to blow out the bits. getting them out like this when they are still hot keeps the screen from building up resin.

Ah, got it. I was thinking "extender" on the other end (south of the atomizer) somehow and couldn't wrap my head around it.

I've got a question and I hope it's not too dumb a thing to ask...
Where exactly is the atomizer? what is it? how does it work and why can't i see it?
My understanding was that it was a narrowing of the airway that reheated and caused a pressure differential due to the narrowing going on. But! When I look in the stem of mine. I see an opening that looks to be the same size as the end. I can't see anything narrowing it down.
can anyone else explain this to me? what am i missing?
for mine the "grill" is the thing that makes the smallest hole size.

I notice Enrico(sp) has a coughing fit in every video. I'm sure he is taking large hits to partially please viewers, but it leaves me wondering, are small gentle hits possible using the subliminator?

The entire lower bowl is your atomizer. The herb sits on your screen, and when you take a draw, the vapor is pulled into the small space below the screen , and then through a smaller hole and down the stem.
The force from your draw, and forcing the heated vapor through the screen and ultimately that small hole, is what atomizes your vapor. That is why it's so important to have the lower bowl at the same temp as the apollo for a true effect.
