Unfortunately I'm in the same boat as you guys. Only drawing between 43-45 watts max these days. Enrico has stated before that the heater is covered by warranty for 1 year so there shouldn't be a problem getting it replaced.

Just got mine on Monday, it's great.. What a ripper it is. Now I hear heater diminishes in output!! Well, I'll use till it stops then I hope I can send for warranty fix if its still in time.. If not ill strip and see why.. I'll post pics up when I have time. It's good vape ok, beyond all vapes in output, one pass... Awesome. I still need to find a place for it. I love it just as I go to bed. If minivap does not get me there, rare. Just means I've overdone it for that day. But once set up it will become my night cap. And party machine.. I gave my mate my volcano digit. This vape blows that one away.

Yeah they jail us flower lovers, not right.. We not crims, just know what's good for us. And I think at this price if many heaters do fail manufacturer would help out. Note this is just out we are all like beta testers, it will get better with experience... That is only gained by fails.. The teacher of all.. No? Just got to say one word about it tho.. SUBLIME!

don't want to jinx it, but so far my heater is running same as when I got it, goes up to 60watts at full power, and it's been running pretty much non-stop. I'm watching it closely now that there are reports of some dropping out. I wonder if hitting the heater with a bunch of oil has anything to do with the drop in performance? I run way more herbs than oils in mine. Those latest vids have me looking at Cheech glass, it's not bad pricing and looks nice. GAS strikes again!! Hoping I can control myself... :haw:

Hitting the sub dry through the launchtube is wonderful, and quite economical.

But with my current glass/water setup, I can take twice as much without any coughing. I bet I could even do three times as much... will find out tonight!

I love hitting mine through my small EHLE tube. Lots of tasty oil to harvest, and I hit dry all the time. Are you able to iso the launch tube for reclaim?

Yeah I need to do that. Mostly just grabbing what gathers at the bottom of the atomizer, and now the reclaimer with the bong. Because I'm lazy, but I do get quite industrious in this respect when I get low.

I never leave mine on for more than 1 hour usually, the apollo is covered for a ten year warranty...correct? If so I plan on sending mine back once it isnt hot enough to do dabs

Only the metal is covered for ten years. The heater is only 1 year for models without timers and 2 for models with timers according to a post Enrico made earlier.

If you're using the Original Sublimator at a higher wattage than 42W, it's generally going to decrease it's life time. the highest setting is ment to help clean and burn off all the garbage/impurities that is on the sublimator.

Please be considerate of the settings you put on.

This is how my original one died. (Ran it max for concentrates most of time)

i only ran mine at around 37 on average.

which is it's current absolute max.

funnily, it seems to hold power draw after it's been on for a long time.

gonna keep it on 'til it won't brown no more. will report back with results

Do you have the timer switch on yours?

The whole thing about the sublimator is to medicate you, then turn off. However, if you were to leave it on for extensive periods of time, it will as well decrease it.I mean in general, usage will always lower, so if you're not using it within 15 - 30 minutes, I 100% recommend you to turn it off until next time.

The titanium original sublimator is going to be crazy. It takes like 5 - 6 minutes to heat up, no problem. Cooldown is significantly lower. Never seen anything like it until I met Enrico.

I think if u could make an all glass atomizer bowl part and have the titanium apollo together flavor would be insane. An I love sublimator destroys every vape, hope losing watts stops.

Intensive heat can cause glass to shatter.

Given this beast takes 30 minutes to get to temp I find I need to leave it running for several hours or all day.
I have not seen any drop in output other than those relating to variance in powe supply (volts).
When dabbing heavily I have noted a resulting decrease in max power consumption, but leaving it to run at max for cleaning sees max consumption back to where it should be.

i've said THREE TIMES that mine has no timer and that i've run it that way. it actually started to decrease it's function once i started turning it off. (note to jambandphan03)

there was NO INFORMATION ABOUT LENGTH OF USE OR REST
nor is there still as i've asked how long it needs to be off to recover.

the problem w/ this is it takes 20 min to heat up and i medicate roughly once an hour so if i take 20 min to heat up, 3-5 hits, 3-5 min apart means a session can take half an hour and then i'm doin' the same thing an hour later (a third of which is needed to reheat the sub).
many all day medicators are in the same place. it's why MANY of the cloud owners leave their clouds on all day bypassing the safety switch with a WEMO. and many of those OG tickers are still going strong years later. after being on the whole time.

am trying not to get irritated, but for you to keep saying that it should only be on for a few hits, then turned off... that is NOT how it was advertised at all.

I agree Bob, the electrical engineering needs refinement even on the timer models, and certainly on yours. Isn't that the whole point of a thermo/rheostat controller box after all, to maintain temperature by cycling the heater circuit on and off without intervention?

You should be covered I would think :nope:

I'm sorry for making you feel irritated. I do understand that the sublimator doesn't have any information in how to operate and handle it.

The sublimator is ready to hit whenever as long as its ON, hot in the temperature you wanted.

There is no need to turn off UNTIL, you're done with it.

I think you misheard me when I said until you're done medicated, you interpreted a few hits.

The sublimator can be left on for hours and does not need to rest.

If you see Enrico's video, he doesn't touch the power switch. (This is for the old skool switch without timer).

Find the sweet spot, and keep subbing it.

If I still don't understand your concern, I'm sorry.

If your heating unit dies, you will be covered by warranty. Return to planetvape for replacement.

subbers subbers no worries we are a tight subculture. i will take care of the broken(the slowdown heater) unit no questions ask just use em as much as you can as long as they work. then send them back for a new one (only the appollo)ask planet vape there procedure of exchange and i will make new units available for them at all times .i will take care of all my subbeners, no one left behind

do not send your unit if it works or for eany other reason we will inspect every appollo carefully for validation of thermal heat reduction in order to minimize future problems

all i have to exchange is the element .i send you the new one while i process the old one back to something new
even better! that'll cut WAY down on wait time! you the man! i really do love this thing, please understand that. i have used my torch less than 20 times total since i got it, which is goddamn unheard of. made a pretty good breakdown video when i got it (can be found in my signature.) but we all hate to do without our favorite toys!

thanks!
