Gotta love a cinderella team on an unprecedented roll. Go predators

You're making history every time you step on the ice, now let's make some more!

The Preds really turned their season around @grokit.
Shame it has to end this way :)

When James Neal was a Penguin he took some infuriating penalties. Has he gotten away from that?

Good luck @grokit!

I'm a mild Pred fan as our MN Wild played very poorly and were out in first round :(

Weird weird game tonight. Looks like Pitt will finish with 5 goals on 10 shots, 50% ???
Highest % of any finals game ever???

More of a bball fan (waiting for their finals), but this game had a fun finish! If the predators can make this a series this will be a truly epic week of sports. Nhl as an intro to nba (history in the making there too).

I found it pretty crazy there aint just one game but a few over a week? First time watching this and went right for last years 2hr long Penguins v Sharks game. I have to say it aint bad for someone living in the UK just a bit hard top keep track of the puck at times.

Going to watch the whole thing tonight and see if i enjoy it all or if it becomes tiring. I do not think i would of bothered if it were not for this thread though. :)

Well you'll have tonight off @rodders83. The next game is Wednesday night.

Give it a go though. Hockey might be the funnest sport to watch.

I prefer to plug my ears and wait until the big upload to Youtube. Thats what im doing now 3 hours of the Penguins v Sharks 720p. It is funny first off a whack to the guys knee with the stick and that is the first kick off or puck off if you will.

Not sold on Baseball but this might join soccer as the only thing i like, Indeed if i wanted i could travel to see a game there is a local UK wide pro league but i doubt if there is anything nasty or any fights going on. Pussies!

Well its that time of year again . . . college football season is here!!!

The Oregon Ducks started the season off right by hanging 77 points on Southern Utah . . . :)

It was just the thrashing this town needed to see after last year's dismal season.

Really enjoyed watching UCLA make the biggest comeback in NCAA history against Texas A&M . . .

The "Chosen Rosen" is the real deal. I do not look forward to playing UCLA this year although our QB, Justin Herbert, is looking very, very good.

Anyways, next up is Nebraska this Saturday. Their coach, Mike Riley, used to coach the Oregon State Beavers so this game is like the Civil War. Eugene is out for blood as we lost to them last year.

Royce Freeman is back, healthy, and running over people. All I can say is . . . feed the beast!!! :D

I tuned in before halftime, and couldn't believe how bad the bruins season was starting out! I'm glad I didn't change the channel. What an improbable comeback that was, 35 unanswered points! I read that texas a&m was still ~95% probable to win with less than five minutes left, that's how unlikely this comeback was.

Well, the Ducks beat Nebraska, and Mike Riley, in an interesting way. Even though they scored no second half points the Ducks won. Now . . . was this by design or a really unfortunate breakdown of our offense. No one is talking about it here. People are disturbed but our new coach isn't saying anything. It seemed to me the Ducks stepped off the gas going into the second half and then the defense had a good time.

I must admit, I am at a loss to use this win and a predictive insight to anything, it is quite mysterious.

On to Wyoming . . . no pics this week.

Peace to all my PAC-12 brothers and sisters . . . :peace:

SC's going to be a contender. Watched them play against Stanford last week. I haven't seen them play this good in a very long while. They got their running game back and their QB plays like a pro. Some awful officiating going on though. For those that watched that game, that roughing the passer call had me off the couch screaming...>>>>>>>>>>WTF????

Kinda like the ucla-a&m game, in that it was played out with two entirely different halfs. I think that oregon just shot their wad early and nebraska came on late, which is what happened in that other game.

:goon: FIGHT FANS: There's gonna be a REAL world-class prize fight tomorrow, unlike that recent fake one.

Well . . . fuck . . . another perfectly good college football season shot to hell . . . . I suppose coach will have to start the freshman . .. we . . .are . . . fucked . . .. at least the defense has stepped up.

EXCEPT . . . they LOST to the Cougars . . . :p

No need to despair....there's ample hope to go around (still early in the season). Advanced metrics indicate that if OG wins its remaining games they have an 86% chance to make the playoffs. If USC wins out they have an 89% probability.
Good fortune to all!
