There's a bunch of chatter regarding the streaming of the game free on computers/devices.
That might be the way I have to go.

I need some help please. NBC.com is streaming the game. So if the dish goes, we're still covered.
If the power goes out though, we're fucked. We've got about 4"-5" with another 4"-6" expected. 15,000 people are without power in some parts of the city right now.
If we lose electricity, is there anybody, or place, where we can catch the game when it comes back on without finding out who won first? I haven't missed a Super Bowl in forever. The biggest storm we've seen all year, and it has to be this day.

No, he is talking inches if he lives in the city his Avatar suggests. I'm out in the suburbs of that same city, and while we have only gotten 8" or so so far, the wind is creating up to 5' drifts. It is very windy and officially blizzard conditions. I need to go out in a while to get something critical I ran out of the other day, and were it not that item I need
I would NOT be going out...And just FYI, I can not see across the street, so even tho it isn't a huge amount of snow, it is a major storm.

If we got 4 feet of snow, I'd probably die, lol. I'm right in the thick of it, and I think we're expecting around 12" total before tomorrow morning. Add the wind, and the fact it's that real heavy, wet snow, it's going to be touch and go with the electricity.

Just got back from getting some pizzas and snacks for the game. The plows are doing pretty good, but the wind was definitely lowering visibility. A lot of people getting stuck in those drifts, and the plows are making quite a few drifts themselves. I'd go soon if you have to. Once this wind kicks up some more, and this shit turns to ice, it's going to be real treacherous. Be careful.

For power outages two causes come to mind:
- Freezing rain/sleet/snow. Very heavy on tree limbs and wires.
- Assholes that drive, wipe out, and hit utility poles thus interrupting your service.

I'm back, alive. It's a GOOD thing those other drivers couldn't hear what I was saying about them. They might have thought I have a very poor vocabulary as I wasn't using much of it...
Now it's time to get ready for the game. I think I'll warm up some chili. I seriously feel for any Pizza delivery persons tonight...

Thanks for rubbing it in West Coasters! We're looking at teens tonight, with single digit wind chills. It will be fun digging out the car tomorrow.
So far so good on the electricity, and the dish. I went out and brushed all the snow off. I'm hopeful now.
As a Bears fan, I have a healthy hatred of the Patriots. The Seahawks are my back up NFC team though. The Hawks made Aaron Rodgers/Mike Mcarthy cry, now I'm hoping they do the same to Brady/Belichick.

And they almost did but for a goal line bad play interception.
Oh well, other than a few bonehead plays it was an entertaining well matched game.
And Brady now has more post season touchdown than anyone, ever. Good for him.

I understand you all are getting nailed again out east, and the Patriots can't even get home. If I were them I'd probably rather stay in AZ for a couple days, but the PAT fans are anxious to throw confetti at them. Tough choice...

Right. Second down on the one yard line? Of course they were ready for a run, but you had plenty of chances and a pass was just nuts. But that's football...As soon as I saw the ball leave Wilson's hands on the two yard line, I was like.............
