So did you get that glass stem from RBT, or a third party vendor?

One question guys, I just found out that my splinter has something lose inside and if I turn it around between my fingers I can hear it rattling inside. Does this happen to any of you? I´m a bit worried about that and what can it be, maybe the mica broke? something else?

shouldn't be any rattling, is it working ok though?

Bummer, I remember hearing about the first shipment and now the 2nd is broken. You’d think the company would know how to pack glass.
DHGate vendors seem to be quite expert at this. A shame the Germans are not, but a MUCH GREATER SHAME if they refuse to make it right. This could be very hard on Ryan's biz. I hope he can get them to do the right thing. :disgust:

Anybody have any experience with modefined mods like the Sirius? DNAs are a bit out of my price range atm and this brand looks legit.

Splinters are back in stock. I just ordered one. I hope this glass stem problem doesn't affect the shipping. I expect it to ship on Monday.

Also, I received an email about the glass problem and about Ryan crying about cash flow. No offense bud but my job used to be providing marketing advice to companies. And, sending out an email like that simply undermines the confidence that I (or any customer) has in your company. If you want to be successful, tell your customers all about your accomplishments and keep your failures to yourself (and your staff). It's nice to vent but never to a customer. Just FYI for however many grains of salt it is worth.

I am enjoying my Stempod and hoping the Splinter will fill the couple voids I feel are present in the Stempod.

Congrats! They’re back Out of Stock again so you must have gotten one of the last of the batch.

While I don’t feel the same as you regarding Ryan’s Rants, I do like info, he has often been dogged by timeline questions so it’s a lose-lose for him. Explain what’s happening or don’t and make people upset about the delays.

If you already have the Stempod then I believe the Splinter will do you wonders, enjoy!

Sorry, he has all my understanding but it's a bit strange or pretty "unusual" at least, to activate his customers to contact one of his suppliers for complaining, isn't it? ;)
BTW as far as I understood it's a problem with his US supplier who is an importer of the European glass stuff, not with the German producer.

The impression I got from that post is that Ryan would like us to help put pressure on the glass vendor. I'm not sure how much that would help but it can't hurt for the vendor to know that he isn't screwing Ryan in a vacuum and they will at least get a reputation hit from their misbehavior. Whether they will care depends on them...

If I were Ryan I'm sure I would be contacting the actual glass producer to let them know what their distributor is doing to customers.

It has a built in battery so i dont know if that matters, this will be my first box mod vape

I watched Ryan's IG video of him unboxing the glass and they literally packed it with ALL of the glass touching and nothing in between. There was basically no way for the glass NOT to get smashed the way that it was packed.

Wismec mods are all fine. It's just a matter of battery life/sessions. You'd have to recharge which will leave you without a mod until it's done charging. Using it while charging isn't recommended as well.

I broke the official stem - while grinding down a VapeFiend cooling stem to fit my 19/19 Splinter lol
And VapeFiend don't have any replacements

Sooo can anyone point me to an EU supplier for 19/19 stems please.

Fortunately Ryan is not listening to the marketing people. The customer write-in campaign to the European glass company was successful!

Yes I got the updated email too glad to see this was resolved. I watched the box opening video really can't believe how they cut corners on the way they where sent the glass.

A ton of lost product leading to a pissed disappointed and lost customer. Over something that a couple extra bucks worth of packing material would have avoided.

Cool, thanks. I'm sure it's on the way. Sometimes it takes a while for the tracking numbers to click. I'll check later tonight.
