Splinter initially is only gonna be made in Walnut & then Ryan said on IG that exotic woods would follow. But who knows when.
I heard it was gonna start out in Walnut & followed by exotics.
I have only just got a milaana, which I love so what shall I do when vapefiend have the splinter?
You can buy it, hold out for the Splinter Z, or buy both. All dependent on how deep your pockets are.

So, before purchasing a Splinter for myself I needed to ask one question. Will it work well with my Joytech Evic Primo? I am happy with my small line-up but really think this would be THE perfect addition. I just have no interest in buying another box for the Splinter. If it is any help, the Splinter will be the only thing on the box, so once it goes on it stays on(unless it breaks). I don't care so much about looks. I just want it to shine in the extraction/enjoyment department. Thanks so much for any input. Have an awesome day!

Duel battery 200w will work like a champ. The primo is 26m wide at the top and the splinter 32m so you will have some overhang and it may make your mod a but top heavy.

Hey I might get tagged for being off topic, but I bought a rx200s from vaporDNA.com for my splinter on Friday. Although my purchase went through my debit card was hacked yesterday and that’s the only website it could’ve happened at. Probably my own error, but you guys be careful if you try to buy from that site.

Thanks for the heads up. Nothing more annoying than having your bank account/debit card information compromised. I was really close to ordering from vaporDNA but ended up purchasing it through Element Vape as they had a better price on the mod I wanted. First time ordering a box mod and there are an overwhelming amount of retailers out there... hopefully I'm all good with Element.
Back to the topic at hand here... is there a specific weekday that RBT typically processes/ships orders out?

I know we're advised not to unscrew the splinter too often from the mod but how much is too much? I see posts in IG where folks disassembled the splinter from the mod for travel, should that not be done more than once a year/every few months..? I've been babying the 510 connection since my mod arrived yesterday, are you guys super careful?
Now that the questions are out of the way, I must say I'm super digging the splinter. Though I love my Mi I never considered getting a backup unit but I have no issues with picking up an exotic splinter whenever that'll be. I haven't gotten my inhalation technique down yet, I get great clouds with any speed so I need to play around to see what's preferable. The small con I have is just the loud air rushing thru the air holes.
@Summer I have the flush 510 model also. It looks amazing when assembled, I was worried at first because all the posts I've seen had the elevated 510 and I didn't want the lemon
. Don't know how the longevity of the flush units would compare but I love how it looks so that's good enough for me, lol. Didn't measure the length of the stem joint of the splinter but my Mi glass stems fit without any issues so maybe the 19/19 change hasn't been implemented yet in this batch.

Super excited to have 1 of these on the way hopefully this week. Did notice a few things I am hoping I get when it arrives but most likely will not. That is the flush connection imo looks much nicer but I see the latest batch was not made flush and the models with the sanded and rounded edges look great also but it seems the latest models are a bit different. Either way I still can't wait to get this . So do 18mm stems fit or do we need a special joint size ?

I've had good dealings with Element Vape. On one order I had a problem with an atomizer tank I purchased from them. I contacted customer service, they responded quickly and helped me find a solution, turned out to be user error.
IIRC when I ordered my Splinter, at check out it stated that shipping was done on Mondays. Hopefully mine shipped yesterday.

Having been following the splinter thread. Looks like I have tons of reading up on this vaporizer.
I received email that it's in stock so decide to grab one. Down to one working Milanna since need to send other in for glass repair.
Been playing around with cheap hana modz dna 40 i just picked up. even on my thermovape stuff i been enjoying it enough that I want invest in a nicer mod. Plus getting the the splinter email sealed the deal. Also eyeing the modpod. More than likely jump on the presale price.
Seems I can't really go wrong with something like a dna 75? Right now I'm leaning towards a steampunk theme. The Vapeman steam engine dna 75, wismec reuleaux dna 250 limited edition and tesla punk mini 85w (even thou it's it's not a dna chip). If any one has any of these could you please post a picture with a splinter on it that be great.
I guess picking up a heatsink for each device is also a good ideal. New to box mod world is there a size or anything else to look for when buying one?

Splinter owners please post a few pic's. I had requested mine to be made flush , hoping it turns out nice. I like the look a bit better when flush but either way it's looking great. I have so many old mods laying around getting no use that this is the perfect device for me. I have a feeling though once its in my hands I'll be looking at a new mod.

be warned I haven't found an American vendor with the vapeman in stock. fasttech.com lists it as in stock but after waiting a week they will tell you they don't have it (just happened to me). Good luck, if you want to see how the splinter looks on different mods you can either google "rbt splinter" images or go on IG and find the hashtag with the same description. I bought a 22mm and a 24mm heatsink off ebay for a total of $4, lol. Either sizes should work but I just wanted a size comparison to see what looks better.
@Justpassedu there's only a few of the flushed ones made from what I understood, seemed like it was more time consuming to do
