I knew it was an option at some point (I actually own one myself) but I thought they were long gone and never to return. You lucked out there. Didn't even know that lacewood was an option. That one is a looker. Nice eye and catch @almost there.

Right on @flammy ! Thanks for looking, friend. Thanks for sharing and that's a nice looking vape. Really like my Splinter too and of course, Vgoodiez. I don't think I've ever had an issue with ordering from them and I've ordered too much. If anything, things tend to ship faster than I expect.
Been a little curious about 4 hole hi-flow. Can you compare it to your Z? TIA!
thank you so much!No way man. I'm happy you like it!
Without doing a side by side I'd say that there really wasn't much difference in air flow. Upon doing a side by side it's apparent how wide open the four hole feels.Been a little curious about 4 hole hi-flow. Can you compare it to your Z? TIA!

Daaaang. Hope he stays up!I caught some of Ryan's stream last night. What I heard is that Ryan wants to sell because he doesn't like & isn't good at the administrative part of the business. If he has to do the front-end work, he mine as well get a job.
He figures if he sells RBT, he will go on to designing the Seed, Sprout & Driftwood, which he will also try to sell to a retailer, preferably to the RBT buyer - or, if not, start a new company to sell them.
Said he is leaving NY shortly, making CO his 1st stop. Guess that's what those truck & camper IG pics are for.
I wish Ryan the best of luck & happy trails.
I'm sure with ya on that one. I think, especially if he continues to develop vapes (which I hope he does), he might find CO more suited to his interests. Who knows when NY is gonna get their act together.I wish Ryan the best of luck & happy trails.
I've been using the splinter for a few months now and really enjoying it. I want to try new firmware on my mod, I'm using a lost vape dna. Can someone point me to where I should get started.
Thanks
So, I tipped my mod the other day and my beautiful xl8r stem fell out and broke... sigh. Using with the stock short stem definitely confirms for me that you need a cooling stem (already ordered).
Has anyone made a friction sleeve or o-ring for stems that holds them in place? Maybe a clip? Of course it would have to be really easy to reinsert to allow for turning between draws. Maybe not practical, just wondering...
Out of curiosity, do the stems for a Stempod Si insert so they stay in upside down?
Hello !!!
three days ago my mod DNA is shown, a friend gave me a new MOD is Voopoo Vmate with chip gene and the truth is that it is not very good, for example, to configure someone has this mod or knows how to configure to use with Splinter V1 +
im a slight twister myself, but have been warned of locking it in too tight, likewise, at least w my wenge z, my fem glass came off w my drydro tube, damned if you do, damned if you dont...I insert my stem with a slight twist and it locks it place pretty good and wiggle it to get it out.
I had my xlr8 fall out of my pocket once and it hit pavement and survived. Got lucky I guess
Yeah, I was twisting an Ed’s Blackwood stem out of my walnut custom Mi2 and it didn’t want to come out. Since I recently sent my custom Z in for warranty repair after twisting the same stem resulted in the glass coming out with it, I took my time, was gentle, and eventually got it loose. But it’s tricky.im a slight twister myself, but have been warned of locking it in too tight, likewise, at least w my wenge z, my fem glass came off w my drydro tube, damned if you do, damned if you dont...
I always start with a little beeswax rubYeah, I was twisting an Ed’s Blackwood stem out of my walnut custom Mi2 and it didn’t want to come out. On the joint? On glass, wood, either? It doesn’t melt?I always start with a little beeswax rub
Thanks, that’s a very useful piece of knowledge! On wood or glass, just a tiny amount. Doesn’t melt, just enough lubricity to keep things from sticking. I’ve been using RBT gear for 3 years, now use it with my Iheat and my Lil’Buds also.
Thanks for the tip! How do you get good results with an XL8R in your Lil Buds? I haven't been able to use mine together effectively. On wood or glass, just a tiny amount.
