I was looking into that degummed hemp fiber as a filter material and I've also looked at the Elfwick site before and then did some more research and learned that you can also buy it in bulk at a very relatively reasonable price .....and it is very likely the same stuff from the provided photos.
If you do a google search for "grade a degummed hemp fiber" the first Amazon listing that pops up has 250g of degummed hemp fiber with a photo that shows a sample that looks very similar to a cotton-like material that looks pretty much the same as the degummed hemp fiber that I've seen advertised for the niche e-cig market. I think that I will purchase some and see what it's like.

That's just SO MUCH fiber, lol. The little pack that elfwick gave me isn't even like 3% used up. It lasts sooo long.

I was finally able to come across some better herb (no seeds!!, although, that was a very rare occasion), so I decided to make another video showing what good (still not great) herb can do. I also dropped a little piece of oil on top to show some of you the process.
First hit is the melter (primer), keep it small so you get as much flavor as possible for the real hit. Pull at the first few signs of vapor.
Hit #2 you go all out. Very difficult to combust because the oil coats the herb and keeps it from charring. YMMV, don't sue me if you combust.
The rest is history.

I'm not sure how providing me with promised potential delivery dates for your second backup unit ordered May 8th (Pg 139, Post 3452) is supposed to make me feel lucky in that I still haven't received my first unit that was ordered February 23rd?
I don't see the correlation......I think that I must be missing something in the translation
I suppose that I will have to decide if it's worth the wait when it arrives......I am hopefully optimistic - but I also use water almost exclusively, so it might be a little tough to get dialed in to not deal with combustion
but it is always fun to learn how to best use a new vape .....so there is that to look forward to at least

Refund so I can buy another, or ship today. I'm tired of this misinformation keeping me in limbo. Please be professional about this. I'm a loyal customer who has spent a lot of money with you, and I tout you on FC all the time. Please do the right thing here, ship or refund TODAY.

I really love my Laana but oh my! Is this the "super" heater underneath??? Just a piece of mesh??? I was expecting something more high tech... I hope this revelation doesn't affect our relationship. It's like getting a new car and suddenly realize it's new high tech engine is just a 20 year old one with new plastics around it...What's under the hood

Except Milaana has no plastic that I know of. It was mentioned a long long time ago that this heater is based off of a hair dryer. Anyone paying attention should have picked up that the heater is just an ss mesh. I realize that beta members made it sound like it as an ss surface or plate but when hair dryer and MFLB heater tech are mentioned it should have been kinda obvious at that point IMHO.I really love my Laana but oh my! Nothing wrong with reusing old tech. Sometimes refined old tech is more advanced then newer tech. It all comes down to how you apply the tech to the build.

instead of "ship or refund today!" why not just ask for a refund? clearly they arent ready to ship units, while it has been documented itt that they will provide refunds to preorders.

RBT has already missed multiple self imposed shipping deadlines, while PV has the updated mi in stock and ready to ship for about the same price. further, you would be dealing with PV going forward for any CS needs. seems like an easy choice.
