have you used yours with a water pipe yet, I think it helps let you see the vapor production. And I agree man. I can basically hold the button and rip but I have to use air control, can't just go for it.
I have the RBT yellow wrapped LG's as this is what I had chose from the store. How much do you get per battery? How many draws per battery? I take big long draws. I can kill a .2 - .25 gram load in 6-8 hits easily. Maybe some lighter specs left but I'm not frugal with my supply at all. 8 x 4 = 32. Isn't that pretty much what everyone else gets? About 32 hits per battery? I recall the beta testers reporting similar usage or my mind just makes shit up...who knows these days.1gram per battery??? Holy shit, you must have alien tech batteries, or i have the shittiest ones ever?!?!
I feel like i get MAYBE 5 stems per battery before needing to charge...but i kill a load in two or three hits...ends up being roughly a half gram MAX.I have the RBT yellow wrapped LG's as this is what I had chose from the store. Pull softly.... battery seem to last the same. It's the button hold plus drawing too much that results in some charring for me. Easier to mistakenly char on a full battery, but still not likely. On a full battery? If so...thats crazy mine will combust after 20 seconds on a fresh charge
I am milking up my 12 inch Ehle and my stereo matrix very easily. Maybe a little less power than I expected, but I was expecting to have to let off the gas quite a bit to not combust. Maybe the clouds aren't quite as huge as my SSV but they are thick, Long and honestly probably look just as big, I'll need to film a video and see. I forsure think that other units may be tuned differently than ours though @Tommy10 I can't imagine getting results like in @WakeAndVape video. I mean unless i drew at a super low rate, like as slow as possible.
Yeah, that would be my only concern because you can't access it from the back at all to position it. Otherwise it looks outstanding. How does the screen system work on that bad boy?
They look like sanding marks to me, from turning the edge, but what do I know...Given the consistent location of the char and the nature of the situation where the bottom cap fell off (when it was on a hot stove). I'd guess the char mark has to do with someone accessing the base using heat after it was glued in place.
Apperently not as much you think...unless your ryan? They look like sanding marks to me, from turning the edge, but what do I know...

Mine will char if i let it...some have cooler running units...mine may run a tad hotter, im fine with that...may make the imperfectiins bearable!Pull softly.... battery seem to last the same. Beautiful! I've been thinking about contacting OGB for a stem of some kind, and it looks like you just decided it for me. Maybe he can even design one a little more around the Milaana, add some feet so you can set it down upright while attached...New stems from @Oregonglassblower - really nice experience, quick turnaround, beautiful glass. Here's my new favorite way to vape:
Comfortable 1-hand operation, big cooling w/ enough feedback for good control, bigger hits for me, and I can get better at full extraction cause I don't get distracted by gravity. Fit is perfect. This is - http://oregonglassblower.com/18mm-GLASS-J-HOOK-Angled-Female-Curved-18jhafc.htm - and Mike was really responsive and made a male version which works out to a snug, rotatable, palmable fit. VAS? I have no VAS, totally satisfied.
I just placed an order for 1 18to14 male to male from and 1 18to18 male to male from Oregon glass blower. He has it all available on his site. I just specified in the order details that they needed to be 18.8/22mm joints so I figure he will get it. I even mentioned it was for the milaana this guys has always come through in the past, his shower head down stems are the best in the buisness for the price in my opinion. I will report about the adapters when i receiveBeautiful! I've been thinking about contacting OGB for a stem of some kind, and it looks like you just decided it for me. I also thought about trying to get a new downstem for my bong with a male joint to fit directly into M... right now to connect to water I have to use an 18/18 m2m and an 18/14 adapter into the 14/18 downstem; it'd be nice to eliminate a piece or two.
Has anyone verified a source for an 18/14 m2m that fits?
Then again I mostly prefer to vape dry, so the J-hook thing will be good enough for now!

Given the fact that I am indeed correct I'd consider starting. Sanding doesn't cause burns, do you write conspiracy theories for a living?
Hoping milaana is waiting for me in the mailbox today.
$34, no extra cost for the gender-reassignment. The glass near the connection can get a little hotter than I want to touch but not by a lot, and after a few sessions I'm confident I'm not torquing anything by holding it further up, so it's not an issue.@hippogriff that mouthpiece is amazing! How much was it and does any part of it get too hot when you hold it like that with your Mi?
I love the look of the finished milaanas...makes the support the creator and help bring a vape to the market thing seem like a bit of a sham.
Dont get me wrong, in happy with the vape...but having such a crudely manufatured device for buying early seems weird, especially because the beta testing was over and all the hold up was teaching people to make them right.
Still gets me high as shit...ascetics aside...but i would like a refined and polished product too, especially after the wait so things could be perfected!
Hell i have a button that shits flat one one side and the other side has a centemeter gap betweed it and the body
I have had a couple people even ask if i made it myself...
I'm a carpenter/wood worker and the router that is cutting the radiused corners is burning the wood.
I was an $89 preorder, fully expected to be paying more before shipping for batteries and accessories (and shipping, and taxes), actually felt guilty getting so much for so little. There's a sanding/buttering session in my near future, and on the lookout for the perfect green pick (but want to find it out in the world, not online), otherwise I just want to find my perfect dry technique, I've found my sweet spot. @Shit Snacks I'm advocating male for as few pieces as possible, but you've got a bigger menagerie to consider...As I understand it, that is the reason for the lower price of the early units more or less. I believe if it is troubling there is always the option to contact CS and see about sending your unit in to be cleaned up with the newer design features added. Personally I think it would be a better idea to just get a second new one, then you have a back up and can even compare the differences in the product evolution. Beta testing didn't reveal issues with the glass or filter, but once pilot production begun it became evident from early users here, leading to the better fit and finish for the fully finalized version to be sold at retail for a higher price. I believe the initial roughness of the product was always part of the plan for the pre orders from the get go, back when they were announced and only $89, though the core functionality was completed and didn't change even in these final production models
There are a lot of great tips in this thread, I'd suggest new users get a little vaked and sift through posts here to home their technique further... I agree @Bravesst this is gonna be a very large thread, has to catch up to GH though!
@cybrguy & @IAmKrazy2 could try getting the OGB mouthpiece with female and use a stem in Mi still, then it could be used for other vapes easily as well... Thinking it may be a nice piece for both GH and VC myself (+HI), but do I go male or female then?! @hippogriff
I agree; it's too bad that the joint is ISO on that particular mouthpiece, because it would have been great for direct-draw usage on the milaana. See what I did there, I brought it back homethe removable mouthpiece on the FC-UFO is complete crap
