Ah yes, and some good ones at that!
But my oh my how our tastes have refined over the years!
Just introduced Mi to Mr. Nice Guy.
This little device almost makes me think I'm using a big vapor lighter or something.
Like Mr. Peanut I think first reported, the crackling of the herb extracting, and drying out on first hit, reminds me of lighting a bowl.
Does anyone else get a bit a deja vu on that first cracklin hit?

Here I am, still out of fine greens, but still like 8 rosin flat big buds left. I've been
in the name of, of FC, myself and every vaporist that put their hands in Milaana. So far so good. I have minor little issues with my Milanesa, but are well overwhelmed by all the pros, that are in my opinion very good to this vape. Fast on demand convection vapor. I believe this video says more than my words... Someone was asking for milkshots @nondarb

I killed that bowl in that video, screen is basket style, screen rim as close as to the top of the 18M. Makes sense?
Well, sorry I forgot to film the ABV, but It was brownish, darker than raw cardboard.
I vape the remains of that ABV on my EVO after that.
I barely got a wisp of vapor. Full extraction a la EVO, at least at home and in a bubbler, in a peaceful controlled environment.
Totally different than on the street, on a hurry, no water tool, nervous about being caught, etc etc . Battery was full charge.
Taste is as good as flat rosin buds can get, I never thought you can get so much vapor from rosin buds, don't get rid of them, mail them to me... jajajaja

Awesome! ......on demand milk shots and very respectable performance. Not as milky as I've seen the Apollo or the Supreme (on video) perform....but who is to say that the effects aren't as powerful?
Edit: As per Post 2059 - I totally forgot that these were Rosin buds......fresh buds at the right humidity might very well perform very differently with a lot more vapor production - when you have the material available I really do hope that you give us some more milk fetish vape porn

Also, this vape seems to scratch my instant gratification itch..... where I don't want to wait for a heatup period - either through a battery driven or a torch driven device.
As I said, perfect for entertaining company during a weekend retreat in the bedroom.....a short break for an herbal pick me up .....and then back to getting down to business.
Yup.....a threesome with Milaana makes this the ideal vape for romance

That's why I'm surprised that they can still produce clouds.
That pipe is almost direct inject to my lungs, the volume of that pipe is made for dabbing, not vaping...
Straight shooter kind of. If I want to milk a bong I need fresh buds for sure and a bigger volume/can water tool in my opinion.
And remember it's unregulated, you can't get too greedy...

I don't understand vape manufacturers these days!
Most add features to their portables that I just don't get, need, or want?!
I grew up with the understanding of heat and electronics don't really mix that well.
LCD screens, preset temps, light/temp displays, Bluetooth, even some sort of charge status takes yet another piece of electronics! Which can fail.
IMO they add all these things to distract us from weak vapor production.
I read most of the portable threads here on FC and am always blown away by users that justify the wispy hits they get by saying, well it still gets me medicated.
I for one ain't buying it!
If you're one of these members still trying to defend your high tech, high dollar vaporizer that gives results that your not quite happy with. I invite you to try the KISS philosophy of RBT's existing line up.
No bells, no whistles, just a very simple concept that produces quality convection vapor on demand.
There's no trying to guess what the device wants. Nugs, fine grind, coarse grind, dried weed, moist buds, tight pack, loose pack, fast draw, slow draw, screen distance, screen direction, what mod to try next, etc.
I have thrown it all at this little device, with excellent results.
IMO it boils down to how YOU want to enjoy our holy grail, which is not dictated by this device.

I know Tommy, but I had to speak up after reading the less than steller results members are getting from vaporizers that cost sooo much more than Mi.
Hang in there buddy, you will experience the simplicity of this device soon, and I'm sure you will be preachin the gospel soon after!

So I'm getting a little concerned...I was an August 23rd pre-order and from reading back it seems that some people who placed their orders in September have already recieved units or at least gotten some shipping notifications?

Great video @Vape Dr. You've got that little preheat thing down pact. And getting milk shots with an on demand convection vaporizer is not the easiest thing to do.
The gates have opened and soon every one who ordered the mi will have it. My biggest issues I've had is controlling my enthusiasm for this vaporizer. I personally like the total user control and the short stem speaks volumes as far as what the hits doing. Not to mention that snap crackle and pop that a freshly loaded stem gives is addicting as hell.

So have any of you Milaananana owners used it to clean your screens yet? I had an empty stem with a screen that was kinda full of resin, so I turned baby on high and got 4 or 5 decent draws off the empty screen. I'm sure my mailbox will have something in it this week (oh please!), but til then maybe someone could let me know what their screen cleaning techniques are?

Yesterday night I had the pleasure as always of vaping with two old members and cool vaporists like @Stu and @Buildozer , I had a blast talking vaping stuff and laughing hard. I even found some leftover trim/kif/buds from ziplocks bags I dumped once in the grinder I forgot. Yesterday I vape some on Milanesa but didn't do videos because of the talking with the guys...
But this morning is another day, and here is Milanesa , vaping some of those leftovers. As you can see, the basket screen is almost topping the 18M US, the load is minimal, I kill that bowl I think in the first draw. I believe to be half or less Solo stem of leftovers. But cloud production is good. Because of just being leftovers I'm still amazed how well Milanesa extracts. I tried the same amount kind of, yesterday night in the EVO, and produced kind of the same results with same bong.
Remember guys this is a ONE LITER VOLUME (almost 1/4 gallon, 1gal=3.8l)...DIY bong. It's really hard to milk without proper weed and with an unregulated device as Milanesa, when you get greedy on the button, you need to let go because you're close to combust...
You can see the volume at the bottom right, 1 LITER. It was a very good vodka by the way. It only lasted a few days in the freezer. I was eager to turn it into this bong.
And here's the morning breakfast...

I know this has been discussed in other areas. But what distance do you guys prefer to have your screens at in your Milaana? Mine is basket style, located at the midpoint of the 18mm joint. I have seen some at the very tip of the joint and I am wondering if its easy to char like that, or if people prefer it there especially when going through water. I know its all preference, I think I like mine around halfway where it is because I get pretty even browning and even on a low low battery I am still getting good quality vapor

In both Bam Bam and Venus I tend to go basket style and put the screen as close to the end as possible. My bowls are usually between .08g and .12g. I like to wring as much out of each load as I can and they are usually quite dark when added to the duff jar.
And more than half of my hits are through water, with both so far, tho Bam Bam will spend more time out of the house, and therefore dry.

So I'm getting along pretty well with my milaana (still haven't named her) I've only used her dry and I've gotten really nice hits and I'm getting used to using the nitecore d2 as I've never had to deal with volts and the 18650..besides haze and air..but anyways it's the unit I purchased on classifieds and it doesn't seem to be running cold at all..I've been really careful so far but I'm about to put her through some water and try her out. I bought a 18 m2m that is def us joint but still has slight wiggle? I have some Dave mod pieces that are ISO among others so the m2m is def us..but my question is...are there differences even amongst us joints?? Cuz their are slight one in the ones I have..

Hola again: "I'm excited as a monkey finding a watch" with my new Milanesa... I keep trying to convince myself that I need more vapor production. Finally I decided to move the basket like 5mm down the 18M. I was convinced that I was going to save battery by having the basket on top, because of heat is closer???? Mmm??? 
I believe after trial and error that I was wrong. And everybody has different ways too...
Here's my new screen placement in the long stem, I use parchment paper as a PPonG
for the long stem.
A little complaint I'm going to see in the future, the screen on top of the heater is going to get dirty with extended use and abuse. I'm being careful now, new baby and all, sleeps next to me, etc etc
I'm using a long needle to scrap leftovers trapped in between that screen and what seems to be the wood body???
I can see this as a problem in the future as well, starting to smell and acquiring a toasty taste.
