I really like the staining on the Firewood 4 I believe it's called ebonized Wax Buff. Is that achievable with the Mi?

We have Wood Conditioner that will darken up Walnut real well. It is out of stock but expected to arrive back on our shelves this week. Likely tomorrow.

Now we're talking . I do prefer the darker woods. All of you are pushing me to the edge of getting one lol. I've been using my GH as my daily for over a year. I know you have experience with both. How do you compare and contrast them?

Better to just search the thread, but I barely ever use my GH if that tells you anything, while I rely on my Milaana for the bulk of my needs even though I do have a few vapes similar to it

I am not very familiar with this practice as I keeps it real on my end but know there are some great techniques for adding flavor to wood pieces. I follow a guy on IG/WoodBug this guy does amazing work with acrylics and paints to his turned art. There is so much neat things you could do. One thing I havent seen anyone really do much of is gilding with gold or silver leaf. You can get the stuff relatively cheap and apply it in various ways. Matter of fact I have some leaf and have wanted to do some for a long long time just never seem to have enough time to think of it when times are slow to make it happen. That would be awesome! I do turquoise inlay and thats fun just feel gilding would be the cats ass so to speak!

BTW, great work you are doing Ryan, way cool to see all the species you are working up now!

More glamor shots for y'all, with the flash, but in a different environment with different lighting:

Performance is still fantastic, I do remember @vapen00b I did mention to RBT I would like to be able to hold the button longer and I definitely can here. Its kinda crazy bc its like I get the perfect level of extraction as my old Mi, while still quick and efficient. Its almost like everything is controlled purely by my inhale, maybe its because I already had great technique from the last one and beta testing one of the first ever units, but still I am very impressed. Somehow this feels pretty damn close to regulated performance dare I say it? Need to try it with some newbies to really test perhaps, but could I trust them and would I be willing to share it?!

Based on my completely unscientific study of two nights with two groups passing both an older and newer/est Mi, I'm pretty sure it's you and your technique. You're dialed in and react throughout the hit and bowl.

I find minor differences between them, first timers didn't. The ones that felt it could hit both, the ones that couldn't, couldn't hit either.

I put my walnut away amd let them play and scorch loads in the maple.

I reach for the walnut first, mainly for the small physical difference, they hit very similar.

Oy. He is WAY too high in this review. Well, way high anyway. Very rambling, this hour long review could have easily been 15 minutes. I haven't tried the Mistvape Ghost (or any mistvape) so I can't evaluate his opinions, but if he didn't have a decent rep this review wouldn't endear me to him...

I have my milaana since 1 or 2 months... so I am still in the experience and experiment phase

I only can tell you how I am using my gh and the milaana lately...

I think regarding vapor output the gh is better (but you have to load the chamber full, on temp. setting 5 and through a bubbler -> that is how I am using it ... with a full chamber I get 4 to 6 clouds using 0.1 to 0.2g herb I think, did not weight it... one down side is that I am using too much herb this way)

the milaana has a learning curve deffinitly (and I am experineced with such vapes)...

In my opinion I have now a technique which works for me quite well...
Nowadays I prefer to use my mi with the gh condom on the short mi stem to be able to use it with my bubbler and get great results... the clouds are slightly smaller then the gh clouds on exhale, but I use have of the herb as in the gh... so I would say you are able to microdose with the mi better, with the gh when microdosing the clouds and results are not that great...
At the beginning I also had problems with the on button/knob on the mi as I had to push it really hard....

I find the mi and gh are different you can not really compare them, but I am happy to have both the gh and mi and they complement very good to each other...

Thanks for your input. I'm going to end up getting one and then I'll know for sure. Maybe I have a GH that runs hot then because I can get clouds with very little material. Sometimes I only fill up halfway and I am able to get good vapor production. I look forward to getting the Mi though.

Yeah I dono, too many variables, it def runs cooler than my V1 (in a good way), but trade off is battery life, which is still solid and better than my original beta I think... Haven't been blessed to test that in a long time bc glass came unsealed. I also believe the purpleheart wood itself does steal some heat so that is another factor as well. With preheat I can start to get the hotspot if I choose too extract even deeper, but it feels totally unnecessary. It just seems geared toward a very even full extraction with minimal effort, but always more to test of course. I could have gotten it tuned just a little hotter probably (still don't know if I am low or standard) to compensate for the PH density, but eh its good for me and makes my V1 still a viable alternative to mix things up! With so many rolling upgrades it can be tricky to know which features your Mi has, all we know is they work and work well!!!

Yeah the airflow helps and I try to draw slower if I put a small amount in it. I want to see how the Milaana is. I really fell for it as it kind of remind me of my solo and the glass stem.

Yeah I take one hitter pinch bowls at 385 in my hopper through water when I do use it, as rare as that is these days. But GH is more like Tubo in my experience, Milaana is more unique with the unregulated handcraft style.

Yeah comparing to that its a great evolution from Solo bc flavor is even better with more power and on demand. It sounds like you know what to expect and would enjoy getting to know Milaana as a unique experience.

My OG, v1, and spalted all behave very very differently.
The power spikes in my v1 is insane and the battery life is ridiculous as a result.
My OG was weak.
My Spalted is overall most consistent and easiest to use with best flavor. I could go for hotter tho

Sounds like what I experience as well, though my OG is likely even weaker being the beta I suggested be turned up for that initial batch, and my purpleheart has the turbulator with denser wood of course (you for your spalted is too early for the turb right? One of the first rare wooded Mi's if I recall correctly, also was taller than your V1? Mine is same size, OG was smaller though)
