So I've had my Milaana for about a month now, so I thought it was time to give my honest opinion on it. And it is a bit mixed for me.
First of all, when I got it, I thought it was super easy to use, but truthfully, it took some time to really get down the right technique. I am not saying this as a negative, I am saying it to let others know you need a little time to really get this girl going strong.
With that in mind, one of my major negatives was minimalized with practice. That issue was having to stir it often, which is a real pain, especially because it's hard to stir without crumbs falling out and making it a bit messy. But after reading about putting the screen at the top of the stem, and not loading it heavily, it helped a lot.
The other thing that helps not to stir, is to rotate the stem a quarter tick every few hits. (I actually put a piece of tape on the side of the stem to mark where I start and then can keep track of my turns.)
As a major positive- oh man do I love this on-demand feature! Being able to take a sip or two and come back later is a GAME CHANGER for me. I can get a little medicated but still be completely productive. I have a hard time doing that with session vapes because I hate waste!
My first vape was the MFLB, which has long since been retired; the Milaana reminds me of it, but being able to use it one handed is a huge improvement.
However, the other major negative with the Milaana is that I really don't think the taste is all that great. The first hit or two taste good (not great) but after that, mediocre at best. A lot of others feel differently, I know, but for me... not so much. Maybe I am not a fan of wood flavor, but for me there are many others that are far superior on the taste front.
But overall, the Milaana has become a daily driver because the on-demand ability is amazing!
