i think i figured how to draw milaana
i used to put whole mouth and draw slow but firm and then hard and firm when i feel heat
today i put my lips at the tips and covered maybe 90% of the mouthpiece and draw, like a nice light and firm draw and bam, clouds after clouds, will try to repeat tomorrow, a fully charged 18650 helped too

Whoever it was that posted about "letting the vapor fall from the stem into your mouth" actually really helped with my technique. Really appreciate the spreading of knowledge. You can never know too much.

My v2 is a lot easier to do soft-modifications middraw... Really liking it. Feathering the button was more of a precise science on my V1 due to how absolutely strong the heater is/was/felt.

I'm getting THICK tasty vapor by just letting it flow very slowly into my mouth. I've been thinking of all day how to describe it and don't want to attribute it to a new "honeymoon phase" but the vapor quality is like rich... like, lip-smacking thick. Nothing close to it from any of the other devices I've used. The best part is with how full-spectrum the extraction is, I get a nice flavorful cloud on first draw, pretty much my ideal hit if just a little light on the vapor production - 2nd draw is lighter on flavor but knocks it out of the park on the vapor production side. Can get a few more after stirring/rotating, but the first two are really something.

Oddly enough, I've been using the glass shorty that came with it rather than my typical wood stem only thing. The two-screen method with the wood stems reduce vapor production and I think add an element of conduction... The taste remains the same, or better due to the small hint of wood the stems add. The screens are also really really really fine, which restricts airflow - restricting vapor production. They still work great and look great - doubt they can be beat for ease of portability, aesthetics and their infallible durability, but I've found a liking for the glass stems again.

The absolute best part of this vape is just the fact that YOU CAN just literally barely draw and feel the vapor seep into your mouth and on your tongue. Having an on-demand, portable that has a powerful enough heater and wide-open enough airflow to do this is insane.

Milaana is a vape that if you never used an on demand one, can be har to master. But when you do...

I forgot that my new unit had to go through customs so I wont probably enjoy her until friday/next monday sadly. Cant wait to have that beautiful spalted girl...

I've barely been vaping recently, and haven't had much time at all to come to FC. This startup company is keeping me occupied, but it's a ton of fun!

Been going through literally ... about .3 a WEEK. Yes... .3 a week. One (if that) micro bowl a day of about .03, which is about .21 every 7 days. I'll splurge sometimes on weekend if I meet my friends for some business, so maybe I'm averaging more like .5 a week (although I went 5 days of no vaping twice now since christmas). Either way ... I used to go through .5 a day, hell ... .5 a sesh back in combustion days.

It's amazing what this vape / mod has done for my useage. I've been spending most of my time with Milaana using DDave's 14mm stem, but I knew I really had to whip out the cooling wand and experience the heart of @DDave , this thing sure is amazing. Such an awesome sesh. Literally feels like I'm sucking on 40 degree mountain air, yet I blow out a cloud. Most enjoyable vaping experience you can get IMO. Thanks again man, you've saved me significantly more money than I've given you, and that's exactly how a business should work.

In working with Mark on Milaana I have complete confidence that he will deliver the highest quality in hand crafted wooden vaporizers. His skill, knowledge of vaporizers and previous experience make him the obvious choice. We will soon be offering the Maple Milaana with a mouthpiece and screen pack for $199 to make a bare bones unit for those with batteries, chargers and mouthpieces.

@thekarmawhore completed the logo art and the search is underway to find the right pick to brand. The more obscure large tear drop seems like it would be ideal. The plan is to shape match the copper for a more finished, consistent feel. Hoping to find one in white pearl. The @Vape Dr. picks (Black pick, white text) for existing customers should be in in the next two weeks.

Rumor is that there is some improvement in the Zion heater tech that would most likely be beneficial to Milaana as well. The improvement is believed to reduce one of the primary issues with many convection vaporizers. Many many hours of Skype time talking convection vaporization theory with @pakalolo is to blame for sharing the secrets of how to make a vapor signature Epic. Much respect and many thanks to the the God Father of Convection. If you haven't read his papers he wrote for Vape World, they are here in the FC resources.

There are also some minor improvements to address a few little picky things that will come along with the pick and custom copper change like a more robust copper screw insert as well addition of an internal tooth washer to ensure contact between the copper and the thumb screw... and hopefully an improvement of the heater once proven on Zion... well, back to Zion with me. @cannabis.pro will start to be the point guy on the Milaana thread along with RBT.UK as I plan to spend most of my time with the Zion crew but shoot me an email at rbtvape.service@gmail if ya need something.

@Vape Dr. the challenge is to find a pick that matches the teardrop shape of the copper. The teardrop fits the Milaana style where the standard triangular 351 pick doesn't really fit the look. To make it more complicated it needs to work in the custom printing process fixtures. I looked at so many pick images my eyes hurt lol.

What about teaming up with @Ratchett and design one that suit your needs? Sounds less complicated and would free your time - which is also money?. Of course, I don't have a ballpark how much that would be finally, when going custom print.

I, for one, would gladly abstain from one - as I've a cool pic doing the job already. Don't mean to sabotage your nice idea and tribute to our Doc - but maybe the simplest would be to just pick a pic for oneself. Should be a fraction of a $ and everyone likes different stuff.. So might end up changing the pic anyways..?

Although I appreciate the email request for V2 Milaana the RBT store is closed with Vaped.com, 420 EDC and Planet Vape being the retail outlets. Moving forward @cannabis.pro will manage this thread and will be taking over the building of Milaana in several weeks. Once 420 EDC builds up sufficient inventory other retailers will be added. Once Zion is well under control RBT will reopen the store to Milaana as well as Zion sales. Until then, Milaana is in the very capable hands of @cannabis.pro. Forgive my absence here as RBT goes "Lights Out" to focus on completing the long overdue fleet of kick ass Zions. Finally got a chance to throw something together for you all to engorge your eyes with!
I had done a couple of practice bowls so my unit was nice and warm and chucked a fresh battery in for this shot. I have moved my screen away from the heater a bit and swapped it back around not basket! Its now the same as stock and I like better for a couple of reasons. It heats more even, the vapour is smother (easier to control the temp) and its heaps easier to stir if I need to without spilling. Any way here is my vid... I will try and get some before and after bowl shots of a similar load.
