So if i take out both washers is okay as well ?
@stinkytofus : I'm sorry to say that mate, but you really should be better off perfecting your technique (which is rather the culprit, this vape HAS a learning curve to get good results)
That being said, I didn't see anyone mention the post counter-screwing check recently, although if you got a recent device it shouldn't be necessary anymore? But just to be sure, try to screw the post counter-clockwise fully. Mine gets unscrewed over time and by flapping the lid around opened and closed, and I need to screw it back tightly regularly otherwise it feels like dead/anemic.
I will tn for sure, but after putting all the hardware in, then putting battery in, the copper plate hovers pretty much on top of the battery, so although this might be the problem, but im afraid it might not be but i will check for sureWell the post unscrewing does create a bad contact in fact, did you check it?
took like 8 15-18 second hits
lid was cold till last few hits
after 8, it was warm, battery was very warm
no vapor but im high..
im using 420edc bullet shots then i used a regular short stem, edc bullet i didn't pack too tight, very loose pack, regular stem as well, loose packed, still no vapor
i mean i tried tight packing that for sure didn't work, i packed loose, should i pack even looser?
i dont know why im getting none to very little vapor

Yea i jambed the threads with thick paper towel, its pretty clean, i cleaned it last week, but did it yesterday to make sureTry pushing down on the copper lid while hittin your Mi? Make sure it is contacting the battery properly...
Also have have a look under the lid at the nipple still nice and round? Mine developed a flat spot which caused an issue. Where only the edge of the flat was contacting, drastically reducing the surface area, fixed with a fine sanding sponge (dont know what else to call it... a sponge with sand paper stuck on it).
And did you try my paper towl trick? Nothing else would work for me I washed and rinsed loads of times but wasnt any good till the paper went through.
You really gotta make sure you jamb it in good then twist like your doing the screw up until the paper comes out the other side. You can see the thread cut into the paper bullet in the pics I put up...
Right sorry for rambling I really hope you get it working otherwise it sounds like it could be in need of a trip to the mother ship.
Saw you are using our TopHats (glass cylinder with glass screen on one side). Is this the case? This setup requires a lot of technique to master and the most important part is lift-off. You need to draw hard enough on the mouthpiece in order to lift the TopHat off the internal stainless steel screen inside the female glass. If you aren't drawing hard enough, you'll likely not get much vapor. To know you are drawing hard enough, you should actually hear the TopHat seat to the other internal glass screen (are you using a 420EDC slim (no internal screen just a taper in the glass) or screened stem?).I will tn for sure, but after putting all the hardware in, then putting battery in, the copper plate hovers pretty much on top of the battery, so although this might be the problem, but im afraid it might not be but i will check for sure

@Shit Snacks you won't believe how many times I check Instagram and here waiting for Ryan to post a picture of mine lol. I, like @b0, at least have a Mi already, imagine what its like waiting when you don't even have one
im using the tophats because the screens clog up so fast, so i use tophat lolSaw you are using our TopHats (glass cylinder with glass screen on one side). Is this the case? My suggestion to you would be to use a stock RBT stem with stainless steel screen until you have troubleshot your battery and electrical continuity. Once you are getting good vapor on a brief preheat and extended draw, then you might want to try playing around with the TopHat and 420EDC stems, but until then, I would avoid using them until you figure out if the issue is your device, your draw technique, a combination of the two etc.
Whats wood is left and right ?Gorgeous @b0 that's really nice spalting there
I also really like this one in the center here, like half grey spikes, great work as always @RastaBuddhaTao! Some lucky owners

I only joined IG recently after pressure from darn vapists, IG isn't so bad but anything like Facebook can Furk-0ff. I did see your new Mi on IG it is very nice but you get that extra thing we don't where it will taste differentI'm not on IG, but I got my friend following RBT after showing him the beginning of my custom and he sent me the pic of my completed one today Think he's jealous, may sell him my v1 once I get this guy in.
I'm originally from LI (like my friend on IG) so it's nice to have a piece of NY with me.
Mine looks really amazing. I love how the grain lines up across the end cap. Thank you. Glad to be a part of this.
Sorry, I do need to do a vid on this. Fine to medium grit or steel wool. Yup, only the surface between the copper lid and the brass thumb screw need to be cleaned.
