@stinkytofus The differences are so minor but there's no reason not to go with the newest models since they've got a better fit'n'finish. So I'd go with that. That said, every Milaana is a winner in my eyes.

I agree with @ZC they work so damn good go with any of them. The one thing about more power is it gets you there quicker so you'll need to be more easy with the button. Plus I think it's a little easier on the battery. Less time on the button=more time riding the heat wave back down. If that makes any sense. Some people have said the better heat retention on the hotter Mi's allows for this more so then the cooler running Mi's.

The og really works well with the @DDave micro-mod 14mm one-hitter, makes it faster and hotter.
I would imagine that the v1 works best with concentrates; the v2 may be best all-around.
Oh well that's just me imagining; I would love to own all three variants
But ducket$ are tight atm, and I really needed a generator for the blizzard that started last night, even if what I really wanted was to take advantage of @RastaBuddhaTao's generous sale this weekend.
I don't always get what I want
So I picked up one of these babies instead:
Hopefully another lifetime investment
Now I will be able to stay warm, and keep my og milaana's batteries charged

How does the no intake cover and first air cover look like ?

The air intake on the OG has some stainless steel wire in the hole, the V1 onward have covers over the hole. The pictures on the RBT store have the covers, you would need to go back to the first 50 pages or so to find one with the open hole.

Yea im still confused lol, heres a picture... Cuz from my understanding v1 v2 has recessed and mesh cover and v1 has nonrecessed and no cover but i have nonrecessed and mesh cover lol

Someone with better knowledge would need to answer what version you have.
I'm using the screen right at the tip of the stem, basket style. I'm using the DDave kit currently and that's the same method.

Looks like a v1 due to the cover over the airhole and partially recessed glass? Maybe I'm completely wrong myself but I'm thinking mines v1. I think v2 the glass is more flush. I'll post pics when I get my v2 in? idk

So I have an early V1 (and a V2 in Walnut being processed...(Sorry RBT, it's that damn squeaky wheel again...). Early in that there were still minor burn marks; most, but not all of which were removed during my finish sanding. Anyhow I thought maybe I had upset the heater balance through careless (but carefree at the time) "Let's see if this fits" approach to stems. Power was down; the rip roaring snorting fire breathing (unfortunately) monster had been tamed. I was OK with a 5 preheat 10 pull button on and 5 pull button off (to clear the heat) and even a little longer. Got to a 15 or 20 count a few times, admittedly not on a fresh battery. Tried cleaning the threads, got some black "stuff" but really very little so cleaning probably wasn't yet necessary. Tried telling myself that I liked the new mature Millie, that no threat of combustion was a good thing and well worth losing a little power for. Of course I was kidding myself, who doesn't love crazy power? Well the monster is back and it turns out "shiny copper is happy copper"; a simple but serious cleaning of the contact area and Millie has found the fountain of youth. Who knew...

I think he might be referring to og, v1, v2 as the three versions. And they are trying to get pre-orders processed and build an extra 50 for stock supply. Don't sound like v3 is coming up shortly.
Are you looking the find which version you have or looking to buy the update ? Your questions mostly end with "lol" vary from sale end dates to version of your Milaana to v3 in the future ? Maybe if we all know what you seek we or the members can help you better. I wouldn't know , I don't own any of RBT's products, yet..

They are stunning, black glass seems like the way to go to match the spalting, makes me unsure if I should get one of those or an even rarer rare, either way it will be one of a kind and I will be ordering before the weekend is out... Just need a fancy new Milaana to step up my go to vape and really show off proper
@stinkytofus looks like the latest model to me, where did you buy? Even v2 glass isnt flush with the wood, just recessed vs nonrecessed OG glass is all (I also have an early v1 myself that is not recessed at all, but that is not the norm)

I believe i have the og but added the mesh cover, cuz this unit is cool to the touch after a session, so definitely not a supposedly "hot" heater like v1

I have a V1 it doesn't feel hot to me after a session. Ryan answered the other day saying the difference is perceived and the units have a swing of 8%. Are you having some issues with your unit ? For me the thing is silly powerful. I can pre-heat for 5 and take a strong 5 sec hit and come out with a big hit, or a longer heat and slower draw does the same.

initially i had alot of trouble outputting ANY clouds, i had the battery positive side up, and loaded the herbs into stem and vaped away, no good, then i found out from ryan it needs to be cleaned if im having issues firing it which i did, after some vinegar/salt sessions with all the metal parts, flipped the battery positive side downwards, and using a finer grind, i got clouds, but wasn't as much as i had hoped, so i was thinking maybe because i had the coolest unit of the three versions, perhaps i should get my hands on a v1? lol
