I'll give this a try KeroZen. Thank you.
You can find them on online retailer sites. We will continue to update our sites as more stock and new products become available.Hello
Can you tell me how I might get my hands on a Milaana? Is there a waiting list?
Thanks,
Lar
I don't own a Milaana right now but I hope to soon--as usage videos and user input have made clear, it's a must-own for convection vapor junkies.@AJS thanks for the thoughtful feedback... You sound like @RBTCustomerService Your input is like good to him I'm sure.
@Shannock good eye. It's just a mock-up on a scrap body as to not sacrifice a usable unit. I plan to do a few hand made units for the video tomorrow.
The kids from "Living on a dollar" (Netflix) are coming to do a video tomorrow and thus the push for the logo, slogan and brand talk.
They plan to do an interview and shoot clips of all of the mfg steps... The hand made in the USA bit. So, what would you like to see in the video? How would you tell the story? How do we tell the tale of transparent design with the great folks here on FC? How do we get them to buy-in to joining the FC / RBT family in reality rather than be marketed into the ever increasing corporate behemoths that are taking over a once underground space? Being able to design communally with customers giving direct feedback rather than have to go through a marketing guy (sorry @RBTCustomerService was such an amazing experience for me. Watching @thekarmawhore make changes in the CAD model to integrate FC feedback real time was an exercise in real transparency. It puts the focus on the what the customer actually wants rather than what you think they want.
@OyVape we have plans for the $99 price point after Zion but that is a totally different product. The question is how do we sell Milaana now to finance tomorrow.
Thanks FC for being partners in this crazy ride! Keep the great input coming as selling fact is so much better than selling fiction. I mean, reality TV sells for a reason

I do some marketing work on a freelance basis for a real estate firm, and I agree with @AJS in that a specific user base is worth targeting because it allows the purchaser to feel as though they are a part of an inclusive movement.
I don't have great thoughts on the logo because I'm not one for graphic design. However, as for marketing...
Why not post Instagram videos of Milaana bong rips, with AVB shots?
Facebook videos of Milaana bong rips, Twitter videos of Milaana bong rips?
Milaana bong rip contests, with biggest hit winning free colored stems?
I'm not really joking. The modern generation of consumers is looking for eye-grabbing visuals that sell the product in just a few words. I believe the millennial purchasers are "anti-small print," if you catch my drift--and explaining the fine points of convection, conduction, grind consistency and terpene extraction mean NOTHING to the average stoned. They honestly mean nothing to the average Vaper, like say my girlfriend, who uses all my vapes but still doesn't give a shit how they work as long as they work.
More visuals of the Milaana doing better than other vaporizers. Milaana in a 22" beaker bong. Shot of AVB after. Cool, modern music in the background, HD video, and short cuts so it's about 20 seconds long and you see milk and exhale into the light.
A great example of this is buzz danklin, the guy who does vaporizer wizard reviews. Watch his videos (he's very popular) and see what he does right--smokers LIKE vaping once they try it, and they would LOVE the Milaana--but if they are still COMBUSTING this perfect plant in 2016, in all likelihood they don't give a shit about the science, at least not enough to look past the shiny Pax on the shelf.
So, maybe try and tie Milaana to the American working class. Try and extract the essence of the blue collar spirit and commodify it like Ford did with Trucks and Levis does with Jeans.
A YouTube series would work, with cross-promotion and contests run from Twitter and Instagram.
"The Milaana: American made. Stronger, faster than your favorite herbal vaporizer. It's a new world. Are you ready?"

We were! My life fell apart for a few months because of a car accident and attendant stress, etc.--but PM me and we'll hang out. My place is wide-open all day tomorrow!Hey weren't we supposed to get together so you can try it out for yourself first too? Along with Zion where it began, I also remember a specific trade offered on your part in fact...

Don't know, but my impression is Pax is a bigger brand, more importantly, I imagine, Pax users are likely to be uneducated about convection and/or session users and maybe even attached to the smaller and more compact form factor. It could be more work ($$) to teach them the benefits, and harder for them to share. Is Firefly beating Pax? I mean Pax says they've got 1,000,000 units in the wild. On a side note, there was a conversation I was having on Vaporents and the person was now deciding between Milaana and MFLB with price being his final hurdle of $100 vs $200. My comment was 2009 conduction tech vs. 2015/16 convection tech that led up to that. My thoughts is Firefly got some great press on the Firefly 1 which was lackluster at best compared to the Milaana and don't get me started on Firmware (not to mention how incriminating it can be in terms of DUI, border crossing, etc.)
I agree with pretty much everything you have written. There are a LOT of ways to gain publicity through this...clouds are attention grabbers, hence my gilded "Potent". It is STRONG, which is what people want.
I'll get back with some slogans after some thought.
I either see slogans as something DESCRIPTIVE: "effortlessly versatile" or an ACTION: "Ride the Heat, Ride the Milaana."
(These aren't my submissions, just a quick thought for examples of the two forms of slogans that catch my attention)
Honestly think an action slogan may be better for the Milaana, as your goal it to make people feel like they are missing out. I think FC crowd likes descriptive, but the majority like action oriented slogans imo, especially when it comes to vaping. People want to feel engaged.
If it's the bottoming out issue on the vaporizers that have a "short" oven depth of under 1", that issue remains. I am still seeking a source for more custom glass. You would be amazed that one person will do A&B but not C, while another will go A&C but not B. In other words, I've not located a source for glass that is cost effective across all the different kit pieces I need and willing to make custom sizes. Still looking.@DDave, will these stems have improved fitment? All the ones I got in your last kit were loose and kept falling out.
Ohhhhhhh shiiiiiiiiiit!
Rockfuckinon DDave, I know where my next purchase is coming from!!!
Edit: Just ordered. Mmm so excited
Edit2: I also am hoping the fitment is good with this! That was my first thought.

Unregulated. Uncompromising. Unmatched.
but there needs to be a real audience. MFLB owners may be a good group to look at since they are used to the unregulated side of vaping.
@hippogriff thanks for the suggestion. We are looking to pool our limited resources in the most impactful way possible. That means going after a market that when explained the product simply will go "yes, I must have that!" I like the idea of focusing on the convention portables niche, but there needs to be a real audience. MFLB owners may be a good group to look at since they are used to the unregulated side of vaping.
@Shit Snacks I think you're absolutely right that the power on this vape is unmatched by anything else out there. That's a great feature we really want to play up and emphasize.
Wow ddave you are an interesting man. I hope that spoiler was as a result of too many DDave mod hits. I'll take that as smart advertising. If it's the bottoming out issue on the vaporizers that have a "short" oven depth of under 1", that issue remains. If it's the slight wobble that keeps the glass joints from seizing and sticking together, that remains as well but is by design.
If concentrates are used, the joints could get sticky....
Thanks @AJS
Responses on fit above. Pieces are air tight, but not joint tight. Keeps them from sticking together.
Yeah, I wanted to see my name in lights!!!!
Was I just testing the Mil Mod? I'll never tell!!!!
It's your fault for clicking though! I did say it was for me only! hahahaha
