I'm with @ZC, i have both and use the Milaana much more, although having said that, i have another Vapcap order in place. It's so much fun to use and if you grab a dynastash it makes for a really compact and classy package. Beautiful and really well made stash box.
I agree with all his points about the differences, except that i find the click on my Vapcap to be totally consistent.
Edit- just finished a 'stress test' on my other battery. I got 8 full sessions this time. The last one was fully extracted, but took a 15 second preheat prior to a long slow pull to get the final bit of the bowl. (I guess i should have checked if i could still get any low temp vapour from a fresh bowl...maybe later...) Brown 3000mah LG, for reference.
My Xtar vtc4 took about 2 or 3 mins before it showed 3v, so i suspect that it was slightly below 3v, but only goes down to 3v for li-ion batteries. Anyone know if the xtar can show sub 3v readings?

Got an email from Ryan. Costs 40$ for heater repair and he said he'd get both units back to me in like new condition. Kinda pricey for a little piece of glass and some glue but absolutely worth it

Ive got 2 maple stems (identical, already my matching fave), so I can put one of each in all four, from shorter, to shorter, to super short.This has taken Mi to another level. Cooler, tastier, tastes better than food! So, so smooth. @Alan is the man. Get your orders in now. Hopefully RBT will be making wood stems soon.

I was wondering about beeswax on the wood stems, @Alan any advice here, or maintenance in general?

The mi simply isn't as efficient as the vapman, but after using and owning dozens of vapes I haven't found anything that is.
That said its a completely different buzz, the vapman giving you that stony medicinal buzz and the Mi giving you a more cerebral heady high.
Given you already have a vapman and are considering Mi vs Vapcap I'd highly recommend the Milaana. The vapcap is awfully similar to the Vapman in use and effect but I find it plays second string more often than not. Milaana offers a very different experience than either, on demand convection (in this and several other vapes) has more or less broken my of using any others outside of my vapman.

I will mostly agree with the others. Different beasts both and different costs for each.
Both can get you very high. I think both hit stronger than the Vapman but I think Vapcap hits harder than all. Something about its signature or the way it pumps out the vapor... I might prefer Milaana for day usage but I think it mostly has to do with how u use them. I can't take as big of a hit with Milaana as with Vapcap when hitting them dry so one hit with the VC is stronger than a hit with Milaana. If u r going through water u might be able to hit the Milaana much harder.
And coming to your next point, you can hit the Milaana either for 10+ hits or with one huge one, you have total control, it just depends on your lungs and throat, can they take it?
About load size I feel Milaana works better with medium to full loads as every convection vape. The less hot air passing around the load instead of through it, the less harsh the hit will be and more potent as well.
On your last point, the Milaana has a more open airflow but that doesn't come hand in hand with smoothness as the tighter VC gives much smoother hits. Not that the Milaana is not smooth, especially with a long stem but VC is much smoother.
Milaana is also great with hashes and kief as every good vape is supposed to be...
I would suggest getting both of course!

@Bravesst - Glad you are enjoying the all wood tubes. They don't take much heat away from the air, so more is available to roast the flower. I apply pure beeswax to the outside of the tubes by getting the wood hot with a heat gun so the beeswax will soak into the wood. A hair dryer will also get the wood hot enough to melt the beeswax into it. Buff it with a soft cloth for a nice shine. Pipe cleaners will work for the inside of the tubes.
The domestic wood single WonG end all wood tubes are $20 plus shipping. Exotic wood tubes are generally only a few dollars more depending upon the wood type. Send me an email when you are ready.

When we correlate smoothness with vaporizers I feel the ol IMO must be given with everyone's opinions. For I can hit a convection style vaporizer without coughing. Every time I use a conduction style vape I cough almost every hit.
I can use the short stem with the mi without any coughing issues. Huge never ending vapor hits. I almost have to take a breath and resume exhaling the vapor. And others have said the exact opposite of this.
My favorite way to vape is to go a smaller load in my mi and in the middle of the "session" I will fire up my ti tip vc that is ran through a @phattpiggie turned stem that's fucking beautiful as hell. With the two punch system I have been imploring I get as high that is humanly possible with the strain that I'm using at that time. IMO of course.

Probably 3-4 times as much. But I come back to it also. I run my mi in a session style. But I always take a break half way through the session for my vc hits. It's an unbelievable combination. Seriously it puts the best of both worlds into your med session. IMO.
18 mm Stem Stir Caps (brass perfume funnels). Fits like a glove, you can use any narrow diameter stir tool. I've got some real cool ideas for the perfect, quick, easy, mess free stir tool mod. That's a simple dowel and toothpick in the picture. No more crumbs on the couch.

Dowel is end is for tamping and, or screen adjustment, but you could use any stir tool that fits. Today I'm going to create a couple of prototypes using different tools.
