Koa Wood Stem 18mm
Is that a rhetorical question? I have no problem getting there, but I haven't figured out how to post to it.
No 5 second preheat here. Rarely have issues with charring when I'm using solo. Start drawing slowly as you hold the button for 5, release and pulse the button rather than holding it too long.Ehh, yeah...just wanted to share ...continue conversation.
Yeah I don't preheat either. Also never stir and have no issues with even ABV. I guess its all in the feathering of the button and draw technique. No 5 second preheat here. My Mi has the Turbulator and my pre-heat is 8 seconds followed by as long a pull as I can do resulting in a terpy hit that is weak on vapor but strong on flavor and potency. 2nd hit is a 5 second preheat with a long draw after and the vapor starts to flow nicely.Yeah I don't preheat either. No.Are any of these available on his website (have tried searching) or custom orders only?
Thank you!!!
I tend to ride the button a bit longer and accelerate my inhalation to prevent combustion. Never had combustion with the Milaana, but assume it's possible riding the button too long with constant inhalation rate.Have had the milaana for a few month now and had my single best session in terms of even vaporization just yesterday. I was always following the instructions like 5s pre heat, pull till gets warm with button pressed, let go off button. Only variable was length of button presses. Even with a very slow pull my bowls were never really extracted evenly..more like from inside out. After rewatching @ohmygodimsohigh 's review again I tried his 5s push, release for 2s, repeat and adjust your draw speed depending on heat. => completely even roast. Milaana still getting better after months. Will try again today with a full battery.

I'd agree with your statement! Although your draw still has a play with the Mi2, the Mi1 is definitely a more defining factor when it comes to technique. Also when it comes to the carb it's not nearly necessary. I use without carb 99% of the time. But it's fun when going for explosive vapor through water. When it comes to maximum airflow, if I pulled very hard on the Mi2 I still wouldn't get vapor just lik the Mi1, but I'd definitely be closer to getting vapor on the Mi2. Just an example of how airflow still impacts it, but just less. You're totally correct though, just wanted to elaborate a bit if anyone was curious, as it's really hard to put airflow into words other than "completely open" and "restricted". So I do my best haha. The currently available Milaana is likely better at this approach than the forthcoming Milaana 2 which has, according to reports I've seen, more restricted maximum airflow, and a carb.

Has anyone had their Milaana heater make a high pitch squeal? Recently I have been getting a weird squeal every once in awhile.

The vape itself hasn't changed in its function and I have already ruled out any specific battery.
