Maple stem from Alan not glass but good enough for a measurement.

Edit: Having said that some like the screen set deeper into the joint... In fact I have one set as deep as it will go for going through water, it needs more power because of the extra distance but it is also much more forgiving on the scorching/combusting side of things.

Horses for courses
One of the best things about this vape, its so simple and yet there are so many ways to use it!

That stem looks lovely, thank you both for all the advice. I'll report back on once I've tested it out.

Update: This is how I imagined vaping would be before not really knowing anything about it, coming from combustion, really feels great to have control over heat / draw etc. Love it

Correct,
I can't find a better way to upload the pictures still checking!
Hey G, great to see ya on FC. @RastaBuddhaTao has been fortunate to have @grovas conducting battery test in Milaana and researching battery chargers. Thanks for all the hard work! Check out the RBT Open Source thread as there are a bunch of smart people playing with electrons just like you lol.

Hello Everyone

I did some testing on my Milaana with 10 types of batteries and thr resultes are Wow......

Safety First: a Few words from Mooch!!!!!

You are responsible for your own safety!

These batteries are designed, manufactured, and sold only for use in a battery pack with the proper protection circuitry and battery management system. They were not designed for vaping (electronic cigarette) use or for use without protection circuitry. Use of these batteries is AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of personal injury or property damage.

  • Only buy batteries from a known, trusted vendor of genuine batteries.
  • Never use a battery, charger, or device that is not in perfect working order.
  • The plastic battery wrap and top insulating ring must always be kept in perfect condition to prevent short-circuiting of the battery which can result in the battery bursting.
  • Never exceed the battery's continuous discharge rating (CDR) or charge rating.
  • I am not responsible for any damage or injury sustained by anyone using this information to select a battery.
This is Mooch forum everything about Batteries and Vaping!!!
Thank you Mooch for all the information!!!!

So now that we after the Safety notes and videos let’s have some fun!!!

I did testing on 3 types of chemistry batteries and it’s

ICR Batteries

· LG HE4 - 20AMP

· LG HE2 - 20AMP

NMC

· Sony VTC4 - 30AMP

· Sony VTC5 - 20AMP

· Sony VTC5A – 30-35AMP

· Sony VTC6 – 15-30AMP

· Sanyo ur18650nsx - 20AMP

INR

· LG HG2 - 20AMP

· Smasung Q30 – 15AMP

· Smasung 25R - 20AMP

Each battery got his own heat range and causes the Milaana heater to work different based on my experience.

For me I love to use the Sony on daily base it’s really what vapor I want Sony VTC 5 will deliver cooler vapor then the VTC5A

I do think that the Sanyo ur18650nsx is a winner because is performance is between VTC 4 to VTC 5A not to hot and not to cold.

Or the LG HE2 will provide hotter vapor then LG HG2 each battery is different not just by the company that making it also by the chemistry and Amp

But the winners is capacity are LG HG2 and Samsung Q30 and Sony VTC6 they are 3000mAh

What is your favorite battery with the Milaana?

When I finished the testing on battires the first thing I did is getting from Ed’s TNT a few wood stems which made my milaana expirance more potent and more cooler then glass and it’s wood so it’s not bracking easy way and the most fun thing there is more vaping time on wood then glass based on my experience

Is website www.edstnt.com Ed is the Man!!!!!! Very good experience Love Ed’s Wood stems AAA+++!!!!

Only when you will try the wood stem you will know the different!

Guys,

This is from my personal experience hope this review will be helpful for you!!!

Peace !!!

Just another traveller in the Cannaverse
Great tone! Have you tried the Mi pick lol.

Just a reminder that February's IG contest is #rbtmusicicons

@RastaBuddhaTao Oh I know. I'm just waiting to look photogenic. I've been waiting 62+ years, so hope that happens sooner than later.

One of the selling features of the Milaana when I first heard about her was the guitar pick, but it's way too valuable where it is to risk on playing with it. I get my 'picks' custom made at a nail salon; no shit. And they do sound wonderful, way better than my natural nails.

Have a great day!

Cheers, kb

@grovas welcome to FC. Thanks for the battery information.

Last night I had a wonderful session with my Milaana that made me feel Dazed & Confuzed. Kinda like this:

Cool!

I removed my "pick" today. Don't see a use case, for me.

Just can't imagine leaving the battery in place, even with the pick.

I don't tighten it enough to hold the battery in place securely, when packed and traveling. I have a very tight spring. The angle on the battery contact plate as I tighten down the tiny little screw is significant and troubling. The system doesn't seem robust enough, by a long shot, for holding fast a potentially hazardous lithium ion cell for more than a few minutes at a time, if jostled around.

For me, it's one and done, the battery goes into an external carrying case or charger.

I like the Milaana quite a lot. The only upgrades that would be worthwhile, to me, apparently are not forthcoming: a MOSFET and secure storage of a battery inside -- something better than a catch-as-catch-can battery plate/cover.

I, actually, LOVE the simplicity of this Vape! The pick does what it does. Its not, really, needed as long as the button doesn't get depressed with the battery inside the unit. I personally never take my batteries out except to charge them even when traveling. As far as the copper plated hold down not being adequate enough I, personally, have never heard of an issue. Maybe Ryan can jump in here to answer but problematic it is not IMO.

The honeymoon effect keeps on lasting, still loving my Mi after a year!
Gotta admit I use the Zion a little more at home, but for portability the Mi is great.
I brought those and two other portables I love for the summer and began to run out of herb. Switched exclusively to Mi/Zi and got really smashed with microdoses! Very efficient.
...Sadly broke my short stock stem, so it gives me a pretext to snatch a few from ALL the usual suspects, as soon as I can "print" some more cash.

every month there will be a Milaana give-away on IG
Even for those of us that are useless with photoshop? :p

How many washers (I think that’s right word) do you have on the screw? Would a few more help even out the copper plate?
